FLWhen I was shadow banned I struggled so much finding solutions on how to get out of it, now that I'm past it I'm here to explain how I did it :
- post at least 3 reels a week. I was capped at 200-300 views for 2 months until IG started to notice me, and allow my videos to go semi viral. You need to signal the algorithm that you're consistent, that's the biggest metric.
Its really frustrating though because it can take up to 3 months of regular posting... It took 2 for me.
- even though your engagement is capped try to test the IG algorithm, what I found is that this algorithm loves trends, or trendy content. Sometimes your content won't give you much engagement, and a simple hook that tells some sort of story will make you semi viral.
- the content that brings the most attention is when you add value.. if people can take something out of your content or you show them a revolutionary tool or method for their craft, that will boost engagement so much more.
