ANmy client has not taken a break from shellac nails in over 2 years. these are her bare nails, which have never been healthier.
the only difference between our shellac manicures and a competitor’s is a thin coat of builder gel applied underneath the colour to protect and strengthen the natural nail underneath.
when it’s time for a new manicure, the colour and most (not all!) of the builder is filed off to apply a new colour. by leaving a thin layer of product behind, we preserve the natural nail and prevent overfilling of the nail bed which causes thin and brittle nails. every few sets, we do a soak off as needed and start fresh.
