CR✨What is the difference between a braid (plait) and a 3 strand twist???
In my opinion, the biggest distinction is the direction in which the strands travel.
In a braid, the 2 outside strands take turns going towards the middle, one going to the left and the other to the right.
Well in a 3 strand twist, all the strands travel in one direction only wrapping around each other. If you are twisting to the right, the far left strand is always going towards the right to take the place of the far right strand and the other strands follow the leader.
