PRMost beginners don’t struggle with speed.
They struggle with control.
And control doesn’t come from moving faster.
It comes from moving correctly.
When kids start rolling, this is what usually happens:
• Body bends too much forward
• Hands fly everywhere
• Legs go too wide
• They drag feet instead of lifting
From outside it looks like “they are skating.”
But technically, they are just surviving on wheels.
Proper rolling means:
✔ V stance
✔ Knees bent
✔ Back straight
✔ Hands stable
✔ Lift → Place → Lift → Place
If your child learns to lift their legs properly in the beginning,
their balance improves 2x faster.
If they only drag and push randomly,
bad habits become permanent.
Parents make one big mistake:
They get excited seeing movement.
But movement is not skill.
Controlled movement is skill.
And skill builds confidence.
Fix rolling early.
Everything else becomes easier:
Stopping
Turning
Speed control
Jumping
It all depends on basics.
