Not only have I lost 2 inches on my waist, I’ve lost inches around my thighs, toned up, built endurance and no longer crave a lot of the crap I was consuming before I started this in February! Skipping everyday for 15mins is the equivalent to jogging for 30-45mins! Start in 5 min increments and build your way up. Whatever your fat loss goal is… the framework doesn’t change. You don’t need detox teas. You don’t need to cut carbs. You don’t need another “fresh start Monday.” You need structure. ⸻ 1. Non-negotiables (most people skip this) Before food, fix your lifestyle: • Lift 3–4x a week (high intensity, no junk volume) • 8–12k steps daily (non-negotiable for desk jobs) • 7+ hours sleep (this is where most fail) You can’t out-train poor sleep. You can’t out-diet a sedentary day. This is the base. ⸻ 2. Control your environment (this is the real hack) Corporate life = busy, reactive, eating out. So make your default easy. Build your weekly shop around repeatable staples: Protein (anchor every meal): Chicken, lean beef, eggs, greek yoghurt, fish, protein powder Veg (volume + control hunger): Spinach, broccoli, zucchini, capsicum, mushrooms, berries Carbs (fuel, not the enemy): Rice, potatoes, oats, wraps Fats (don’t overdo it): Olive oil, avocado, nuts I keep my calorie deficit small (200 calories or less) and do fat loss slowly but gradually to give my muscles the best chance of growth or maintenance (yes hard but you can grow muscle in a deficit). Keep it boring. Boring = consistent. Consistent = results. When your fridge is set up properly, discipline becomes easier. ⸻ 3. Structure your day (this is where most drift) You don’t need perfection. You need rhythm. Morning 30g protein + walk first thing (help having a dog) → wake your body up before sitting all day Midday Protein + veg + carbs → stop the 3pm crash Afternoon High protein snack → don’t walk into dinner starving Cut caffeine earlier → protect sleep (most overlook this) Evening Protein again Carbs if needed (sleep / cravings) Finish eating 2–3 hours before bed ⸻ That’s it. No magic. No extremes. No starting over every week. Just a system you can run on repeat while working a full-time job. ⸻ Consistency > intensity.
