So instead of thinking you need one long walk, you really just need 10 small pockets of movement throughout your day. That shift alone changed everything for us…Here’s exactly what we do: 1. Wake up and walk Even if it’s just 5 minutes around the block. It wakes up your body, clears your mind, and gets your steps started early instead of leaving all 10K for later. We love doing a rosary walk in the morning (usually 15–20 minutes) so we’re getting steps in and getting grounded at the same time. Bring your pup, drink your coffee, say a prayer! 2. Take walking breaks throughout the day We’ll pause our work 2–3 times a day (10am, 12pm, 3pm) and just walk for 5–10 minutes. Every time we do this, we come back clearer, more focused, and actually more productive. So if you feel like you “don’t have time”… this is exactly why you need it!! 4. Use a walking pad when you can We’ll use it during work that doesn’t require full focus, like: answering emails, updating things, general busy work. Keep it at a low speed so you can still work. You end up getting way more steps than you think just by not sitting still the entire time. 5. Multitask your steps You don’t have to stop your life to walk. We take calls on walks, we voice dictate emails, we pray, think, reset. We’re almost never “just walking”… we’re stacking it into what we’re already doing. 6. If it doesn’t happen naturally, plan for it Some days the short walks don’t happen. So instead of skipping movement, we’ll go on one longer walk (45 min–1 hour) and get it done. We use that time to pray, think, or just be in silence 7. Walk instead of drive If something is within walking distance, we walk. Gym, church, errands, post office—those small choices add up fast You don’t need more time, you just need to use your day differently. It’s all about stacking small moments of movement into the life you’re already living!!
