LOADED SPAGHETTI SQUASH BOWLS 🙆🏻‍♀️ Follow @kalejunkie for more easy recipes! And not only is this easy to make, it is SO FUN to eat in a bowl. This recipe is low carb, gluten free and loaded with veggies! I used lean ground beef, but this would also be fantastic with ground chicken, turkey or plant-based crumbles. Make it your own :) Makes 4 servings 2 spaghetti squash 2 tb olive oil 1 yellow onion, diced 3 carrots, chopped (about 3/4 cup) 1 pound lean ground beef, chicken, turkey or plant-based crumbles 3-4 cloves garlic, mashed 1 tb Italian seasoning 1 15.5 oz jar @raoshomemade marinara sauce Salt & pepper to taste Garnish: freshly grated parmesan cheese, chopped basil Preheat oven to 400F. Cut the spaghetti squash in half and stand them up on a small (quarter size) baking sheet. If they don’t stand up, that’s OK, just lay them on their side or cut a tiny piece off the bottom, so they stand up. Brush the tops generously with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 45 minutes then remove from the oven to cool. While the squash is in the oven, prepare the meat sauce filling. Add olive oil to a pan/pot over medium heat, and once hot, add the diced onions and carrots. Stir and let cook for about 6 to 7 minutes until the onions and carrots start to cook down, then add the garlic, followed by the ground beef, italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Stir and let cook until the meat is cooked through, then add the jar of marinara sauce. Turn heat to low, cover and let cook for 15 minutes, then remove from heat. Next, use a fork to separate the spaghetti squash (as shown) and then fill each bowl with meat sauce. SPAGHETTI SQUASH HACK HERE ⬇️ Let’s take a trip down memory lane - did anyone else feel crazy disappointed the first time you tried spaghetti squash? I know I did. It was mushy, bland, and the FURTHEST thing from spaghetti. This hack is guaranteed to change that. Slicing your spaghetti squash cross wise into 1” rings creates long spaghetti-like noods with a killer texture. I guarantee you’re going to love it. Be sure to SAVE THIS POST, and comment SQUASH to get the full step by step tutorial, complete with photos! What you’ll need: 1 spaghetti squash Olive oil or coconut aminos Salt and pepper How to do it: Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a large metal baking sheet with parchment paper. Wash your squash and pat it dry. Give it a few pokes with a fork. Put in in the microwave for 2-3 minutes to soften it up a bit. This step is optional but recommended for easier slicing. Slice off the top and bottom and cut into 1” rounds. Scoop out seeds. Place on the baking sheet and brush each side with olive oil or coconut aminos. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 40 minutes, flipping half way through. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Use a fork to pull the strands from the peel and enjoy! #spaghettisquash

my favorite way to make spaghetti squash noodles ❤️ this became one of my staples and it’s so easy to make! 1. cut the spaghetti squash crosswise and scoop out the seeds. 2. drizzle with olive oil, add salt and pepper. 3. put the squash face down on parchment paper and bake in the oven at 375F for 35 minutes. 4. while the squash is baking, cook ground beef on a stovetop and add tomato basil marinara sauce. 5. gently pull the squash inward with a fork to create the noodles. 6. add the beef marinara into the spaghetti squash, top with your favorite cheese, and it’s good to go!

This is my favorite way to cut spaghetti squash to get long strands that actually look like spaghetti. You can stuff it with so many combinations like this creamy alfredo-like sauce made with butter, cream cheese and mozzarella cheese. 🍝 INGREDIENTS 1 spaghetti squash 2 tablespoons butter ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon black pepper 4 tablespoon cream cheese 1 cup mozzarella cheese 1 cup baby spinach INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 400°F degrees. Fill a baking sheet with about 1-inch of water. 2. Cut spaghetti squash in half crosswise, scoop out the seeds and discard. Place cut side down in the prepared baking sheet and bake until tender, about 45 minutes 3. Use a fork to pull apart the strands of squash that look like spaghetti and set half them aside. Season the spaghetti squash halves with salt and pepper, and then add butter, cream cheese an half the mozzarella cheese. Stir it together to combine. Then add the spinach and reserved spaghetti squash, season with salt and pepper and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese. Broil for 3-4 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and melted. Enjoy immediately.

So say hello to baked Feta Spaghetti Squash - the perfect cozy veggie-forward dish that’s ultra comforting and incredibly tasty - such a great way to get your veggies in!!
