Melt & Pour Soap Making – Step by Step
In this video, I’m showing a hands-on demo of melt & pour soap making for beginners.
Here’s the basic process:
• Start with a soap base and cut it into pieces
• Melt the soap base
• Add fragrance
• Add color
• Pour into the mold
• Let it solidify and remove from the mold
💡 Important tip: Melt & pour soap contains glycerin, which causes glycerin dew (sweating). To avoid this, always wrap your soap in plastic wrap after it fully sets.
Also, always plan your design before you start so you know how to color and pour your soap.
This is one of the easiest and most fun ways to start making handmade soap at home.

Each bar is hand-cut and left to cure for four weeks, allowing the soap to harden naturally while retaining its nourishing glycerin — a process that makes the soap gentler and longer-lasting.
Most store-bought soaps?
They’re shredded by machines, remolded, and rushed out the door. Natural glycerin is stripped out (because it shortens shelf life), and synthetic hardeners and preservatives are added so they can sit on shelves for years.
But this isn’t factory soap.
It’s handcrafted skincare with intention — not mass-produced to survive in warehouses, but made to support your skin and elevate your daily ritual.
