It’s hard not to feel it… the situation right now is scary. And even if you are safe…the tight chest, clenched jaw, restless legs, random wave of tension for no reason, aren’t just random tics. It’s somatic anxiety (when stress shows up as physical symptoms instead of just racing thoughts) And let’s be honest. You can’t always journal your way out of that. Sometimes your nervous system doesn’t need more thinking. It needs movements that help discharge stored stress, regulate the nervous system, and shift you out of fight-or-flight mode. Save this for the next time and send this to a loved one <3 {somatic anxiety, physical anxiety symptoms, nervous system regulation, anxiety relief techniques, stress release exercises, trauma-informed movement, vagus nerve stimulation, fight or flight response, anxiety in the body, self regulation tools, calming the nervous system, somatic healing, mind body connection, stress management tools, yoga} #somatichealing #anxietyrelief #nervoussystemregulation #mentalhealthtools #mindbodyconnection

. . . #parati #enojo #bruxismo #estres #cortisol #sistemanervioso #arg #foryou #asmr #bienestar #yoga #somatico #ansiedad #rabia

This isn’t a random movement. It’s nervous system work. When you slow the body down and bring your attention inward, you shift out of chronic fight or flight activation and invite in parasympathetic regulation. This is where muscle guarding decreases, breath deepens, and stored tension begins to discharge. Somatic work helps the body complete its stress cycles instead of storing them. Small movements. Big rewiring. Consistency beats intensity with this type of emotional work. #womensupportingwomen #healingjourney #nervoussystemhealing #burnout #femaleempowerment

As a somatic practitioner, I deeply suggest you try one heart opener a day. Not to “fix” yourself. Not to force anything out of your body. But to begin creating space where something has been held for a very long time. Because grief doesn’t just live in your thoughts. It lives in your tissues. In your breath. In the way your shoulders round forward, subtly protecting your heart. When we go through heartbreak, disappointment, abandonment, or even prolonged stress, the body adapts. It contracts. It shields. It stores. And over time, that protective pattern can become your “normal.” Heart openers gently challenge that pattern. They bring awareness to the front body. They invite breath into areas that have been compressed. They create the conditions for emotion to surface — not through force, but through safety. But here’s the part most people don’t talk about: More is not always better. This is where titration comes in. Titration means working with the body in small, manageable doses. It’s the difference between slowly releasing something… and overwhelming your nervous system. Because when you open the chest, you’re not just stretching muscles. You might be touching stored emotional material. For some people, that can feel like warmth, relief, or even nothing at all. For others, it can bring up waves of sadness, vulnerability, or unexpected emotions. And if your system doesn’t feel resourced or safe enough, going too deep too fast can actually reinforce shutdown instead of release. So if you’re exploring heart openers, do it with intention: Go slow. Stay connected to your breath. Come out of the posture before it becomes too intense. Let your body lead, not your mind. And if you want to go deeper into this work — into somatics, nervous system regulation, and learning how to actually process what’s been stored in your body — My 6-month transformation program, Transformation, is coming soon. It’s hard not to feel it right now… the state of the world can feel overwhelming. And even when you’re technically safe, that tight chest, clenched jaw, restless legs, or sudden waves of tension aren’t random. That’s somatic anxiety — when stress lives in the body, not just the mind. And honestly, you can’t always think or journal your way out of it. Sometimes your nervous system doesn’t need more thoughts. It needs intentional movement — something that helps release stored stress, regulate your system, and gently guide you out of fight-or-flight. Что ты не знаешь про свои ладони? What you do not know about your palm ••••••••••••••••••• EN The palm is not an “organ map.” It is a dense neuro-sensory zone with high cortical representation. Palm stimulation activates brain areas involved in attention, pain modulation and muscle tone regulation. This is why working with the hand can: — reduce back tension — influence deep muscular chains — enhance neuromuscular connection This is not mysticism. It is neurophysiology and somatic integration. If you want to learn how to safely unload the back through the hand, comment: РУКА / HAND ••••••••••••••••••• #massagetherapy #bodywork #anatomy #somatic #backpainrelief

Whilst learning about somatic therapy I learnt this tiny habit is your body trying to calm itself…” That small, repetitive motion actually has a surprisingly real effect on your body — it’s a form of self-soothing through touch. 🧠 What it does to your nervous system: 1. Signals safety to your brain Slow, gentle touch activates receptors in your skin that send a message to your brain: “you’re safe.” This helps shift you out of fight-or-flight (stress mode) into a calmer state. 2. Activates the parasympathetic nervous system This is your body’s “rest and digest” system — the opposite of anxiety. That circular thumb motion can: Slow your heart rate Reduce tension Calm racing thoughts 3. Grounds you in the present moment The repetitive sensation gives your mind something simple to focus on, which: Pulls you out of overthinking Helps during anxiety or overwhelm Feels similar to grounding techniques used in therapy 4. Mimics comforting human touch It’s almost like a subtle version of holding your own hand — your body can interpret it as comfort and reassurance, even if you’re alone. 💭 Why people do it without realizing: A lot of people naturally start doing this when they’re: Anxious Deep in thought Trying to self-regulate emotionally Your body is basically trying to calm itself down automatically. 🫶 Simple way to use it intentionally: Next time you feel overwhelmed: Slow the movement down Breathe steadily Focus on the sensation in your palm It becomes a quiet way of telling your body: “we’re okay.” #somatichealing#healingjounrey#traumarecovery#mentalhealthmattersselfawareness
