Trying to be liked by everyone is one of the most expensive habits you can afford. There’s a quiet exhaustion that comes from constantly adjusting yourself for others. Small things at first, tone, opinions, decisions. Then slowly, it becomes your default setting. The problem isn’t people. It’s how easily we start negotiating our own clarity to stay acceptable. And the truth is, most people aren’t thinking about you as much as you think they are. But you end up thinking about them all the time. At some point, you have to decide where your energy deserves to go… approval, or alignment.
