De Splinter is not just a playground: the uniqueness of this place is that it does not only have active play possibilities, but it also offers activities for fun learning and children’s development.
There is a lot of cool stuff to discover in the park. Climbing castles, slides, tunnels, sand pits, swings, building blocks - just to name a few - are all waiting to be discovered and played with. The park is fully gated and has a lovely lawn in the middle. Bring a blanket with you and set up your camp for the day while the kids are enjoying themselves 🥳. For the provisions, it is allowed to bring food and drinks with you. And there a small cafe for ice cream 🍦, snacks 🍟 and drinks ☕️🧃.
And on top of all those playing possibilities in de Splinter, there are also activities for learning and personal development. Right at the entrance of the park you will find the giant checkers and chess area ♟. There is even a person in the park who regularly plays there with the kids 🙏🏻. Furthermore, there is a DYI area for carpentry 🔨and an animal petting area 🐐. The park regularly organises supervised activities in those areas and other special themes. They are currently rebuilding their pool area and hopefully it will be ready soon just in time for the hot days. Even more reason to visit them.
