1. I don’t wait to make “more money” to take my finances seriously Good habits don’t start with a higher salary. What you do with a little is exactly what you’ll do with more. 2. I don’t save “what’s left” Saving happens first. If it’s not allocated upfront, it gets spent. 3. I don’t let my checking account hold “extra” money If all my money sits in one place, it all feels spendable. Anything not needed for bills gets moved out immediately. 4. I don’t spend unexpected money automatically Bonuses, extra income, I save at least 50% before touching the rest. That’s how I boost my savings through the year. 5. I don’t touch my savings unless it’s planned Savings aren’t a backup spending account. They’re off-limits unless there’s a real reason. 6. I don’t say yes to plans that mess up my finances Not every dinner, trip, or weekend deserves a yes. Financial peace is more valuable than keeping up. 7. I don’t upgrade my lifestyle every time my income grows More income didn’t mean more spending. It meant faster goals and less pressure. 8. I don’t avoid looking at my numbers Avoidance keeps you stuck. Clarity gives you options and confidence. 9. I don’t confuse financial stability with deprivation I still travel, go out, and enjoy my life. I just do it intentionally, without guilt or stress. Ready for clarity and growth? The importance of splitting your pay 👀 Soph was able to buy all of these treats for a friend going through a rough time because she had money sitting in her gift account already. No guilt. No stressing. No “I shouldn’t be spending this”. Just money that was already set aside for moments like this. We talk a lot about how to split your pay (and set up accounts like this) inside IOU, a course we’ve developed with BNZ to make money feel way less overwhelming. Comment IOU and we’ll DM you the link to learn more. 💙

Did I come on here to whine about how expensive restaurants are? Definitely yes but it’s true! Everyone knows that eating out isn’t the best financial choice but it is seriously costly nowadays. By the time you add Clark County sales tax (8.375%) and the tip screen they flip around at checkout, that “cheap” meal gets expensive fast. A $15 takeout meal with tax and a 15% tip lands around $18.51. A $19 meal with tax and a 20% tip lands around $24.39. I’m not saying never eat out - I still do. But if “I’m busy” is the reason every time, meal prep or even a meal prep service can save real money. Comment or DM me and I’ll break down exactly how I shop to keep meal costs low. #MoneyTips #BudgetingTips #PersonalFinance #lasvegas #takeaway

You’re probably doing WAY better financially than you think… you’re just too busy comparing yourself to people online to notice 👀 If you’ve been feeling behind, this is your reminder to zoom out and look at your real progress. 20 signs you’re doing financially better than you think: 1. You pay your bills on time (or early) 2. You’re not living paycheck to paycheck anymore 3. You have money left over after necessities 4. You’ve started saving—even if it’s small 5. You have an emergency fund (or you’re building one) 6. You check your bank account without anxiety 7. You’ve paid off debt (or made real progress on it) 8. You think before you spend now 9. You’re investing—even if it’s just $50/month 10. You can afford convenience sometimes (delivery, childcare, etc.) 11. You’re not relying on credit cards to survive 12. Your income has increased over time 13. You’ve learned how to budget (and actually follow it) 14. You can handle an unexpected expense without panic 15. You’re more focused on long-term wealth than quick money 16. You’ve stopped impulse buying as much 17. You’re having conversations about money, investing, or wealth 18. You’ve set financial goals for yourself 19. You’re thinking about generational wealth 20. You know this isn’t where you’ll stop Progress doesn’t always look flashy… but it does compound. If this is you, you’re on the right track 🤍 #financialindependenceretireearly
