THI’ll never be the account that will tell you to stop shopping because honestly I could never manage that but I do have 5 rules when I’m spending money 🛍️
1. If I don’t have my own money to pay for it, I don’t buy it. Buy now, Pay later services will forever have you in a debt cycle.
2. Wait 48 hours for non essential purchases. Most of the time you forget about it.
3. Buy through platforms like @shopbackau (i’ve earnt over $270 from everyday purchases) and make the most of the available rewards programs like @onepassau (i have $450 available atm) and @everydayrewards (i’ve recently started shopping at woolworths but had $30 off my shops over the past couple weeks)
4. Give yourself a budget of what YOU can spend that way you never feel deprived but you aren’t reckless
5. Track everything you spend, this keeps you accountable and honestly if you have to write it down then you less likely to spend. I use the @coplenty Beginner spreadsheet - Use Lexi10
