LE💫My husband, the contractor, needed help figuring out the area of a building that looked like a trapezoid.
I showed him two ways:
1️⃣ Dividing into two triangles (a bit tricky)
2️⃣ Dividing into a rectangle + one triangle (so much faster!).

MRCircles + Pythag = Perfect Trim!
I got talking with Kyle from @rrbuildings at the International Builders Show about trimming out an arched doorway and made me think of this project from last winter. It’s cool to hear how different people figure these things out! Sometimes it’s a little guess and check, different techniques you learned along the way, or maybe some math!
For me, Pythag came in clutch as usual. Cool to see how it comes up in circles. Perfect for the start of the circles unit in GeoCon!!
