PIAfter years of working at Amsterdam based STMPD studios, mixer and producer Rob Bekhuis knew exactly what he was looking for when it came time to build his own space. He’d experienced the Pinna sound firsthand, and wanted that same clarity, control and comfort in a room of his own.
This compact mix and production studio is built around a pair of ATC SCM25A monitors and an Argosy G Series desk. While the footprint is modest, the high ceiling adds a sense of openness, amplified by tall windows that bring in soft daylight throughout the day. Stylistically designed with warm tones, subtle textures and custom lighting give the room a calm and focused feel.
Acoustically fine-tuned for long hours of listening and detail work, the space delivers not only on visual comfort, but also achieves an exceptional acoustic result, ensuring a great acoustic translation from this studio to the rest of the world.
