follow @universereveal if curiosity is your habit The aircraft emerges from a cloud layer that is typically a low to mid-level stratus or stratocumulus cloud, formed when moist air cools and condenses uniformly. Inside such clouds, temperatures commonly range from about 0Β°C to βˆ’10Β°C at lower levels, and can be colder at higher altitudes, often containing supercooled water droplets. As the plane descends below the cloud base, visibility improves quickly, revealing the runway environment and surface details needed for the final approach. polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs) also known as nacreous clouds, form in the winter polar stratosphere at altitudes of 15 to 25 kilometers. they occur at extremely low temperatures, around -78Β°C or colder. unlike typical clouds, PSCs are composed of ice crystals and supercooled droplets of nitric acid and water. these clouds play a critical role in the depletion of the ozone layer by providing a surface for chemical reactions that release chlorine and bromine compounds, which destroy ozone molecules. PSCs are also known for their iridescent, colorful appearance when illuminated by sunlight. #polarstratosphericclouds #natural #phenomenon #explorepage #reels #fyp #coolfinds #didyouknow #clouds

Undulatus clouds are affected by the wind shearing of two different airstreams. Air moving above the clouds interacts with air moving (at a differing rate/direction) below the clouds, producing the notable rows of β€œundulating” clouds. β€œUnda” is Latin for β€œwave.” Stratocumulus undulatus clouds occur at differing heights, but are generally more lower level clouds. Pilots consider any type of undulatus cloud as a sign of potential turbulence. β€’ π•π’ππžπ¨ π‚π«πžππ’π: @cora.a.harris β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ π…πŽπ‹π‹πŽπ– @cora.a.harris

Undulatus Asperatus Clouds ☁️🀍 These clouds have a dark, wavy appearance, almost as if the sky is in a state of turmoil. They often look like the rough, churning surface of a lake, but seen from below 〰️ They form when air at the base of the cloud is being pushed downward, creating the rippling, wave-like shapes ✨ πŸŽ₯: @//608653257 tt #sky #inlove #inlove😍 #inloveπŸ’• #cloudlovers #cloud #paradise #cloudchasing #clouds #asperitasclouds #asperitasstrong #nature #naturephotography

These breathtaking formations are called Polar Stratospheric Clouds β„οΈπŸŒˆ They form high above Earth, at altitudes of around 15–25 km, where temperatures drop below –78Β°C. What makes them special? Unlike normal clouds, these are made of tiny ice crystals and nitric acid, which bend sunlight and create rainbow-like, glowing colors β€” often making the sky look unreal or alien ✨ They are extremely rare, visible mostly near the polar regions during winter, and for just a short time after sunset or before sunrise. Nature’s reminder that Earth still hides wonders we’ve barely explored 🌍✨

Polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs), also called nacreous clouds, form high in the polar stratosphere during winter, typically between 15 and 25 kilometers in altitude. They develop in extremely cold conditionsβ€”around βˆ’78Β°C or lower. Unlike regular clouds, PSCs consist of ice crystals and supercooled droplets of nitric acid and water. These clouds are significant in ozone layer depletion, as they provide a surface for chemical reactions that release chlorine and bromine compounds, which break down ozone molecules. Visually, PSCs are striking, often glowing with iridescent colors when lit by sunlight. Explore the universe with us πŸ˜‰ πŸ‘‰@astronomy.views . .
