class vs struct, what to use when? 🤔👨‍💻 💡 In short: If you need a small chunk of data that will not be changed, use structs. Otherwise use classes. 😉 "Controlling complexity is the essence of computer programming." - Brian Kernighan For using structs vs classes it's important to know their type: - Classes are reference types. - Structs are value types. This means that structs are performing a lot faster as they are just on the stack. As an example see it as an integer 5. It is indistinguishable from any other 5 at runtime, and there is no way to mutate the literal 5 to be a different value such as 6. (Read wiki to learn more) This makes structs very limited as when you want to change any value, it requires to make a whole new copy to apply that change, and it can never be null. As of the limitations of structs, I personally always recommend to start with a class and use structs when you are sure you need it. But how about serialization, like in Unity3D? 🤔 Using serialized structs in Unity is not inherently problematic, but there are certain considerations and limitations that you should be aware of such as: Serialization Behavior, Lack of Customization, Reference Preservation, Immutability, Compatibility and Future Changes. (Check out my broadcast channel for more info! 🤩) Serialized structs can work for simple data structures. If you decide to use serialized structs, make sure to thoroughly test your serialization and deserialization processes, especially in scenarios involving nested data structures or references. 😉 Happy coding everyone! 👨‍💻 💡 Save for later if you learned something new! ~ Follow me for more: @justinbieshaar . . . #coder #coding #gamedeveloper #gameprogramming #gameprogrammer #developer #gamedev #learntocode #programmingtips #csharp #cplusplus #codingisfun #linux #unity3d #unrealengine #python #cse #softwareengineering #programmer #programming #serialization #programmingisfun #javascript #codingisfun #memory #fullstack #frontend #backend

What looks complicated in calculus often becomes simple with the right identity. Let’s solve: ∫ tan²x dx Start by rewriting tangent using sine and cosine: tan²x = sin²x / cos²x Now apply the identity from Trigonometric Identities: sin²x = 1 − cos²x So the integral becomes: ∫ (1 − cos²x) / cos²x dx Split the fraction: ∫ 1/cos²x dx − ∫ cos²x/cos²x dx Which simplifies to: ∫ sec²x dx − ∫ 1 dx Now integrate: ∫ sec²x dx = tan x ∫ 1 dx = x Final result: ∫ tan²x dx = tan x − x + C Key Insight 💡 Many difficult integrals become easy when you apply the right identity first. Calculus is not about memorizing formulas — it’s about recognizing patterns. Do you remember this identity? tan²x = ? A) sec²x − 1 B) 1 − sec²x C) sin²x − cos²x Comment your answer. #Calculus #IntegralCalculus #EngineeringMath #MathematicsEducation #STEMEurope MathStudents FutureEngineers LearnCalculus MathReels MathConcepts PhyxonAcademy Follow @phyxonacademy for clear concepts in Mathematics & Physics. Cosine (cos) is a trigonometric function that represents the ratio of a triangle’s adjacent side to its hypotenuse in a right triangle. It’s also the x-coordinate of a point on the unit circle for a given angle. #math #cosine #trignometry #learning #animation #reels

The graphs of cot, sec, and cosec can be fully understood through the unit circle. In this animation, we explore these trigonometric functions from 0 to 4π and connect their algebraic definitions to geometric meaning. On the unit circle, sec is defined as 1 divided by cos, and cosec as 1 divided by sin. Because cosine and sine become zero at specific angles, sec and cosec develop vertical asymptotes where their values are undefined. This explains why their graphs contain repeating branches instead of continuous waves. Cot, defined as cos divided by sin, represents the ratio of the x-coordinate to the y-coordinate on the unit circle. Its graph is periodic with period π and also contains vertical asymptotes wherever sine equals zero. By visualizing angle rotation on the unit circle and tracing corresponding values on the coordinate plane, the relationship between geometry and algebra becomes precise and intuitive. Understanding cot, sec, and cosec graphs through the unit circle strengthens conceptual clarity in trigonometry for school students, high school learners, university mathematics students, and teachers alike. #math #trigonometry #fyp
