Where to Stay in Shanghai, China. If you're looking for a great place to stay when visiting Shanghai, I highly recommend Green Court Residence in Shanghai City Center. If you want a lot more room then a standard hotel room, full kitchen, Japanese toilet (IYKYK) and a great location look no further. This is the Studio Plus, there are larger rooms if you have more people. The location here is amazing as your are very close to Peoples Park, New World Mall and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. There's 2 very close train stations and tons of food and stores in walking distance. The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful and the value is unmatched as we stayed here for only $65 a night! I haven't seen this type of value fir accommodation besides Thailand. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere nice, clean, spacious and in a great location when visiting Shanghai. We also stayed at different place for Disney as it is not close to the city center, so stay tuned for that one and still more Shanghai content to come..
