How to study 12 hours daily as a lazy student 12 hrs study is not easy but I’m giving you a routine that will change your life. 8:00am : wake up 8:00 to 9:00 : shower + exercise + breakfast 9:00 to 12:00 : study 1 12:00 to 2:00 : lunch and nap 2:00 to 6:00 : study 2 6:00 to 8:00 : scroll, friends, evening walk, dinner 8:00 to 11:00 : study 3 11:00 to 11:30 : break 11:30 to 1:30 : study 4 1:45 : sleep This routine is best for lazy students because there is 2 hrs of break in every study session. Tips: 1. When you start your study session, make sure you completely avoid cozy areas and your mobile phones. 2. Natural light is very important, so try to study in natural light. 3. When you take 2 hrs of break, you can sleep for some time to relax your mind. 4. You can also take a break for 2 to 5 minutes in between study sessions. 5. To make these long study hours easier, I use Oreate AI to turn my lectures into podcasts and flashcards, summarize notes instantly, and generate study outlines — so I spend more time focusing and less time organizing. 6. Constantly think about your goals.

One of my exam revision habits is studying before going to sleep and early in the morning. ☆ I really feel like these two time periods are the most effective for memorizing information quickly, because at night the brain naturally organizes what I’ve learned, and in the morning my mind is fresh and ready to absorb it again. ☆ Doing this consistently every day, I don’t even need to study too much, but I can still see real progress. ☆ Do you study better at night or in the morning? #study #studymotivation #viral #studytips #student

You’re probably not lazy but overwhelmed so on those days, try this: 1. Lower the bar to start Tell yourself: “I’ll study for 5 minutes.” Once you start, momentum usually kicks in. Starting is the hardest part. 2. Use the 25-minute rule Study 25 minutes, break 5 minutes (Pomodoro style). It feels short → less resistance → more consistency. 3. Study the exam, not the subject Focus only on: • Past exams • Practice questions • Teacher’s hints Skip anything unlikely to be tested. 4. Active recall > rereading Instead of rereading notes: Close them and ask yourself questions Write what you remember It feels harder but saves tons of time. 5. Teach an imaginary person Explain the topic out loud like you’re teaching a child. If you get stuck, that’s what you need to review. 6. Use shortcuts • YouTube summaries instead of textbooks • Flashcards instead of long notes • Bullet points instead of paragraphs Efficiency > perfection. 7. Study at your laziest time If you’re tired anyway, might as well study. Don’t wait to “feel motivated.” 8. Remove friction Before studying: • Put phone in another room • Open the exact file/page you need • Sit at the same spot every time Make studying the default option. 9. Consistency beats intensity 15-30 minutes daily > 4 hours once a week. 10. Accept “good enough” Perfect notes = wasted energy. Passing with less effort is still a win. #study #motivation #lazystudent #studytips

Let’s be honest, romantic desks, pastel highlighters, and 5AM miracle routines aren’t fixing your grades. Here’s what actually works (and nobody posts because it’s not aesthetic): 1️⃣ Study in ugly places Your brain forms stronger memory cues when it’s not fully relaxed. When you study on your bed or in a cozy setup, your brain associates the space with rest → not recall. A slightly uncomfortable chair, library desk, or quiet corner keeps your brain alert, which improves focus and retention. Aesthetic ≠ effective. 2️⃣ Start with the hardest topic first Most students waste peak brain energy on easy chapters “to build confidence.” That’s a trap. Your focus is highest at the beginning of a study session, use it for the topic you avoid the most. By the time your energy dips, even small wins feel doable. Hard-first = faster syllabus completion. 3️⃣ Write bad notes on purpose Rewriting textbooks neatly is passive studying. Messy notes mean your brain is processing, not copying. When you struggle to frame points in your own words, your brain builds neural connections. If your notes look ugly but make sense to you, they’re gold. 4️⃣ Teach a wall (or yourself) out loud Silent reading gives false confidence. Explaining out loud forces your brain to retrieve information without help. If you freeze or overcomplicate, that’s the exact gap you need to fix. Teaching exposes weak spots faster than rereading ever will. 5️⃣ Stop studying when you’re still focused This sounds wrong but it’s powerful. Stopping only when you’re exhausted trains your brain to associate studying with burnout. Stopping while focused creates anticipation, so the next session feels easier to start. You’re training consistency, not suffering. Studying isn’t supposed to feel cute. It’s supposed to feel effective. Save this. Because discipline beats aesthetics every single time. Okay first… I didn’t suddenly become a topper overnight 😌 I was just tired of staring at the same book for 3 hours and still feeling guilty. So I changed the way I study. Instead of reading everything line by line like a “perfect student” 🥲 I started reading like a “smart student” 🧠✨ I gave each chapter 10 minutes ⏱️ Timer on. Phone away. Airplane mode. No excuses. 🚫📱 In those 10 minutes I only: Read headings 📝 Understood the main idea 💡 Checked diagrams & flowcharts 📊 Noticed important terms ⭐ Looked at PYQs 👀 That’s it. No over-highlighting 🎨 No re-reading the same line 5 times 😭 No trying to be perfect. After 10 minutes, I closed the book and asked myself: “Okay… what was this chapter actually about?” 🤔 If I could explain it in simple words — done ✅ If not — 2-minute quick revision 🔁 And then I moved on. Here’s the honest truth 💭 You can’t memorize 5 chapters in one hour. But you can: ✔ Remove the fear ✔ Understand the basics ✔ Build a strong base for revision And sometimes… that’s the real win 🥹✨ Because once fear is gone, studying feels lighter. And lighter study = consistent study 💛📚 #StudyTips #motivation #consistentcy #explore #fyp

Rule 1: The 80/20 Academic Principle 80% of your grade comes from 20% of the work. Identify it (past papers, key lectures, major assignments). Pour your effort there. Perfecting everything is a losing strategy. Rule 2: Social Capital is a Currency Go to office hours twice: once at the start of term to introduce yourself, once before a major assignment. Build a relationship. This isn’t manipulation; it’s networking. A professor who knows your name is more likely to give you the benefit of the doubt. Rule 3: Energy > Time You cannot manage time; you can only manage your energy. Schedule your hardest cognitive work for your personal peak hours (morning, afternoon, night). Use low-energy slots for admin, emails, and organizing. Rule 4: The Strategic “B” Sometimes, a strategic “B” earned in 10 hours is worth more than a desperate “A” that costs you 40 hours, your sleep, and your sanity. Reallocate those 30 saved hours to another class, a side project, or your well-being. Maximize your GPA per hour invested. Rule 5: The Exam is a Separate Subject Knowing the material is one skill. Knowing how to pass the exam is another. Study the format, the marking scheme, and the past papers as rigorously as you study the content itself. Rule 6: Your Network is Your Net Worth The friends you make in your degree are future colleagues, references, and collaborators. Invest in those relationships. Group study isn’t just about the material; it’s about building your professional tribe. Rule 7: The System Beats The Sprint A consistent, moderate system (2 hours daily) will always beat chaotic, heroic sprints (20 hours in a weekend). You’re training for a marathon, not a series of collapses. The goal isn’t just to graduate. It’s to graduate with your health, relationships, skills, and opportunities intact—and to have enjoyed the game. Save this for when you need to remember what you’re really here for. Let’s be honest, most days you won’t feel like studying. You’ll scroll a bit, think about doing it later, maybe open your notes… then close them again. It’s not because you’re lazy. It’s because your brain is trained to avoid discomfort. Here’s what actually works: 1. Lower the bar. Don’t aim for 3 hours. Tell yourself “just 5 minutes.” Once you start, momentum takes over. 2. Change your environment. Move your body. Clean your desk. Go somewhere quiet. Physical reset = mental reset. 3. Use the 5-minute rule. Start the timer for 5 minutes. Study badly if you have to, the goal is just to start. 9 times out of 10, you’ll keep going. Because the truth is: You’re not supposed to “feel ready.” You’re supposed to start anyway, and become the person who does things even when it’s hard. Follow @studypla.app for more!
