Obviously everyday is quite different but on average I really focus on living a balanced life at uni because it’s important for me to have time for everything and not just uni work:) That being said, here are some tips on how I arrange my days/study system so I can work more efficiently and not burn myself out doing 10 hour library days! My uni work system: - 3-4 hrs of focused work on weekdays (i try and do this out the house ie on campus at the library but just in a place where I can be really focused is important) -> this time is so important as it’s how I get things done fast! I keep my phone away from me, set a timer and fully just focus and work through my to-do list with no distractions! - Weekends off unless there’s a deadline or I’m behind -> this is really important for me to aim towards because i work so much better when i know i have a break coming up and then i can prioritise social plans/things that fill my cup/other work on the weekends:) - I start assignments early + chip away at the 20-30 mins a day, I have a calendar with deadlines and plan in when I’ll start work on each so I’m not cramming last minute - I revise *selectively* - based on past-papers and what lecturers repeat - Flash cards only for complicated topics or definitions, I stopped making hundreds of flashcards because sometimes it was a bit of a waste of time - No note-taking/making stuff look pretty, I try to put things directly into ANKI or make practice questions and answers on Notion - I take real breaks (not feeling guilty about not working) and stop when my brain checks out, rest, and then start again:) I think keeping it light but consistent genuinely helps so much because I’m so much more productive now and just feel a lot more balanced! It is obviously very different depending on degrees etc. I’m aware but I always have these as things to aim towards:) #uni #unistudysystem #howtorevise #worksmarternotharder #smarternotharder #productivity #studyhacks #howtostudy #howistudy #university #college #collegehacks

Do similar tasks together to reduce cognitive load. ✅ Example: • Batch all your diagram-making together • Do all flashcard reviews in one block • Watch all related videos before note-taking 🌱Start with a “Power Hour” Set a timer for just one hour where you go all in—no distractions. Train your brain to work deeply in short bursts. 🔁 Repeat this twice daily instead of marathon sessions. It boosts speed through focus. ✅Learn → Quiz → Fix → Repeat Don’t waste time passively reading. Use this fast feedback loop: 1. Learn for 20–30 min 2. Close notes & self-quiz 3. Check gaps and fix 4. Move on This trains your memory and boosts recall faster than rereading. 🌱Cheat Sheets + Visual Compression The faster you can see the whole picture, the quicker you’ll learn. ✅ Convert every topic into: • A flowchart • A timeline • A box of “key terms only” Your brain can absorb visuals 60,000x faster than text. 🏷️:: #study #studytips #smarttips #science #student #studentsofinstagram #tips #jee #neet #boardsexam #studying

Study Smarter, Not Harder: 5 Game-Changing Tips for Exams! ✨📚 Exams are around the corner, and we all want to make the most of our study time. Here are five tips to help you retain information better and stay productive! 1️⃣ Prioritize active recall – Instead of just rereading notes, test yourself! Summarizing concepts in your own words boosts retention. 2️⃣ Make use of summarization tools – Watching long lectures or YouTube explanations? Use apps that generate summaries and key points so you can review faster. (I’ve been using @summapp.io that does this in seconds!) 3️⃣ Follow the 80/20 rule – Focus on the 20% of content that will likely make up 80% of the exam. Identify key topics and master them first. 4️⃣ Don’t just listen—engage – If you prefer video learning, get transcripts of lectures and highlight important points. It helps in structuring answers better. @summapp.io can do it for you FREE ✨ 5️⃣ Teach what you learn – Explaining a concept to someone else (or even to yourself) forces you to understand it deeply. Which tip do you swear by? Drop your go-to study hack below! ⬇️✨ #StudySmarter #ExamTips #StudentLife #summerizer

You don’t need to give up the things you love to get good grades! Here’s how ⬇️📚🧠 - THE TECHNIQUES: 1️⃣ Active Recall - this refers to any study technique where you retrieve information when prompted, without reading/looking at your notes. It’s a great way to memorise information fast!!Examples include: Flashcards, Blurting, Practice Questions 🧠 . 2️⃣ Spaced Repetition - revise content at regular increasing intervals to remember it better. For example, once when you get home from school, then again that weekend, the next weekend, the next fortnight, the next month etc. You only need to go over your notes briefly each time. Say 15-20mins 📆 . 3️⃣ Application - do practice questions (textbook, past year exams, online resources) to learn how to understand APPLY content rather than simply rote learn it. This will help you gain a deep understanding of the content & be able to memorise it FAST ✍🏼 . 4️⃣ Feynman Technique - learn the content (eg. through active recall above ) then try to teach the subject to someone who is unfamiliar with the topic (e.g. a child, a friend, a family member, stuffed toys if desperate). Being able to do this will help you develop true mastery and understanding of the topic 👩🏼‍🏫 - #Studytips #studyhacks #studygram #studymotivation #studyspo #studyspiration #students #studentlife #examtips #examready #topstudent #goodgrades

📚 𝙎𝘼𝙑𝙀 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙇𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙍 How to study less but get better grades, by studying smarter, not longer. Memorisation Timing (Spaced Repetition): If you want information to actually stick, when you review matters more than how long you study. To memorise anything quickly: • Right after learning • 15–20 minutes later • 6–8 hours later • 24 hours later To memorise anything long-term: • Right after learning • 20–30 minutes later • 1 day later • 2–3 weeks later • 2–3 months later This alone can cut your total study time in half while improving retention. Blank Word Method (Active Recall): Instead of rereading notes, force your brain to retrieve information. • Review your notes or slides • Cover key words or leave blanks • Fill them in from memory Struggle = learning. If it feels hard, it’s working I use Remnote and it has great functionality for this as well as flashcards. Tired but Productive Study Plan: When energy is low, structure beats motivation. Start with focused revision, tackle hard topics early, switch to lighter material later, and end the day by planning tomorrow. Short breaks + intentional pacing keep you productive without burnout. Managing Academic Pressure: Better grades don’t come from stress — they come from consistency. Daily: breathing, movement, journaling Weekly: social time, hobbies, goal reviews Long-term: enough sleep + frequent short breaks Your brain performs best when it’s taken care of. Break It Down: Instead of trying to learn everything at once, divide it into smaller parts and study a little bit every day. 3. Study Plan: Decide when you’ll study each day and stick to it. 4. Start Early: Don’t wait until the last minute to study. Start as soon as you learn something new. 5. Take Breaks: Study for a short time, then take a break. Repeat this pattern to stay focused. 6. Mix It Up: Try different ways of studying, like using flashcards or drawing pictures. 7. Practice With a Friend: Quiz each other or explain things to each other to help remember better. 8. Build Confidence: Make up your own practice tests to see what you know, and don’t worry if you don’t get everything right away. 9.
