LA“it’s hard to make money on Substack”
The people who say “It’s very difficult to monetize on Substack”…
Are usually the same ones who get mad that I charge for my articles 😅
Here’s the thing:
In order to monetize… you have to charge.
And yes, I do have an audience on social media —
but when I started my Substack? I had zero subscribers.
No email list, no fancy tech, no plan — just words, stories, and a clear value exchange:
I write something worth reading, you can choose to pay $11 a month to support it. (Or not!)
For free, vague advice, you can consult ChatGPT (my bff)
But for proven methods from a human who has actually been there, done that, with wisdom to share? That’s worth paying (and charging for).
That’s how you build a business — not just a fan base.
