Sudoku Packing is filling the feeds right now. Cute idea but does it work? I put the theory to the test for you, so let’s see! Here’s what I found while styling these pieces; 1. Choose a colour palette that works well together and combines with everything. This is a minimalist packing guide for a reason. 2. If you’re a maximalist like me or a dopamine dresser, then use accessories to make the pop of wow - a statement lipstick, belt, bag or scarf. 3. You could add in another pair of shoes or accessories to make it really hum for you. 4. Wear your heavy pieces on the plane or use that as your opportunity to bring a whole other outfit entirely. 5. I forgot to demo the cropped trench so these are only some of the outfits to make from the core 9 pieces. How cool is that!!! 6. This method could mean a two week holiday is doable with carry on and if you’re a bloody genius then longer!! 7. Chuck in a tee and a simple dress for those extras if you really need them, and you might be winging your way on vacay sooner than you think. 8. You choose pieces that work together, build one reference photo before the trip, and suddenly your suitcase makes sense every day you travel. One framework. Every season. Every destination. ⭐️ If you don’t receive the game, please check your Instagram message settings. ‼️You may need to follow me to receive my message. Here’s a flashback to an oldie but a goodie! This Sudoku method seems to be trending on Instagram right now…but remember where you saw it first two years ago! Let’s have some fun planning a travel capsule wardrobe and play “Carry-On Sudoku”! ➡️ The premise here is that you choose 16 clothing items and then every row becomes an outfit, as does every box of 4 squares, making 15 different outfits. ➡️ For this edition of Carry-On Sudoku, I chose 4 tops, 4 bottoms, 4 outer layers and 2 pairs of shoes (because 4 pairs of shoes is my no-no!😉). Every piece can be worn together. ➡️ I kept the boxes marked “shoes” generic for two reasons. One, because I would never recommend packing 4 pairs of shoes, and two, this allowed me to choose the shoes I felt went best with the outfit that was created on that particular row or column. ‼️ This Sudoku method doesn’t exhaust all of the outfit possibilities that can be made with your 16 items, but it is a fun way to start your travel capsule wardrobe planning, especially if you aren’t sure where to begin this process. ❓ Have you ever played Carry-On Sudoku?
