I've always missed these blooms so I wasn't going to give up without a fight this year!
I woke up at the crack of dawn and made the long solo drive here.
Not knowing if it would really be worth it.
Let me tell you,
IT WAS MORE THAN JUST WORTH IT.
I definitely spent way too much time here, even cried many happy tears!

โก๏ธ Skip routing to Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve - blooms are there, but nothing spectacular
โก๏ธ Munz Ranch Road is pretty bare, not worth the detour
โก๏ธ Elizabeth Lake area is a pass too

๐ธ drive down 110th Street W, there's various pullouts and dirt roads you can take to get closer to the blooms
๐ผ then make a left on Highway 138, drive until you intersect with 122nd Street W- here's where you'll find insane blooms!
๐บ 125th Street W and Highway 138 also looks beautiful right now!
