The Multiverse - Reality Might Be Bigger Than We Can Imagine✨ We look at the night sky and think the universe is endless... others? but what if it’s only one universe among countless From galaxies and stars to atoms and quarks - everything we know exists inside the observable universe. And yet, scientists believe it could be just a tiny bubble in a far bigger cosmic ocean. Mind-bending possibilities: Multiple universes with different laws of physics Infinite versions of reality, each playing out differently Universes constantly forming, expanding, and fading Our entire universe may be one tiny patch in a cosmic landscape The scale isn’t just big - it’s beyond comprehension. And the most shocking part? We can only see a fraction of what exists. The rest remains hidden... for now. The universe isn’t just massive - it might be one of many.✨ Credit:universifyy . . . #space #spacex #nasa #theories #stars

All explanations of it show a 2 dimensional sheet being stretched by a heavy object. Sure in that case there is only one 'dimple' that is formed and it is easy to show curvature of space and planets falling towards the centre of the single dimple. In three dimensions, space isn’t like a stretched rubber sheet with a dip. it’s more like an invisible, flexible volume that can bend and change how things move through it. A massive object (like a planet or star) doesn’t make a single “dent”. instead, it changes the geometry of the space all around it, in every direction. Objects nearby aren’t being pulled into a hole they are simply moving along the straightest possible paths in this curved 3D space. Because the space around the mass is curved symmetrically in all directions, those straight paths naturally spiral inward, which we observe as gravity and orbits. The 2D sheet is just a visual trick, in reality, gravity is about how mass reshapes the rules of distance and time everywhere around it, not about falling into a dip. Video : @scienceclic

Meet the fastest-spinning object in the known universe: PSR J1748−2446ad. 🌀 This city-sized star rotates 716 times every single second, meaning its equator is screaming through space at 24% the speed of light. ⚡ It’s so incredibly dense that a single teaspoon of its material would outweigh Mount Everest several times over. 🏔️ Because space is a vacuum, we can’t “hear” it directly, but when NASA converts its radio pulses into audio, this cosmic beast sounds like a terrifying, high-pitched mechanical hum. 🎧 The universe is far more extreme than we can imagine. 🌌 #pulsar #astronomy #spacefacts #physics #nasa

Gravity Wells: How Objects Distort Space-Time Imagine space-time as a vast, invisible fabric. When a massive object—like a planet, star, or black hole—rests on this fabric, it bends and distorts it, creating what we call a gravity well. The greater the mass, the deeper the well. This is why planets orbit stars—they are essentially “falling” through curved space-time, but never quite reaching the center. Black holes take this to the extreme. Their gravity wells are so deep that not even light can escape. In reality, gravity isn’t a force pulling objects together—it’s the result of space-time bending around mass. Could we one day harness this curvature for advanced space travel? #SpaceTime #Gravity #BlackHoles #Physics #Einstein

ㅤ 🌌 Interesting fact: Even as we live our lives, a scientifically plausible scenario exists where our entire universe could collapse instantaneously and without any prior indication. This concept, known as a vacuum decay event, describes a theoretical transition from our current universe's metastable vacuum state to a lower-energy, more stable vacuum. If this were to happen, a bubble of this new vacuum would expand at the speed of light, fundamentally altering all physical laws. It's a humbling reminder of the vast, unknown forces governing reality and our seemingly small place within them. The sheer scale of this possibility makes us reconsider our perception of permanence. credit: tt/aboutspace

If you could move away from Earth at the speed of light, the journey would feel endless. You’d leave the Moon behind in seconds, the Sun in minutes, and the entire Solar System in just a day. After 100,000 years, you’d cross the Milky Way. After millions of years, you’d drift through the vast emptiness between galaxies. Even after billions of years, you still wouldn’t reach an “edge.” Because the universe doesn’t end like a wall — it expands, stretching space itself as you travel. The farther you go, the more space appears ahead of you. Running from Earth at light speed wouldn’t take you to the end of the universe… it would only show you how infinite it truly is. 🌌✨ #spacefacts #universe #lightspeed #cosmos #astronomy #astrophysics #nasa #interstellar #galaxy #outerspace #sciencefacts #didyouknow #spacereels #factreels #viralreels #trendingreels #explorepage #fypシ #spacecommunity #spacedarkbeyound

"Stop scrolling and LISTEN to the center of our galaxy." Space is a near-perfect vacuum, so sound waves—which require a medium like air or water to travel—cannot propagate, meaning there is no audible sound in space. However, NASA converts data from space (radio waves, plasma waves) into audible sound through data sonification, making invisible cosmic phenomena "hearable". The universe is all of space and time[a] and their contents. [9] It comprises all of existence, any fundamental interaction, physical process and physical constant, and therefore all forms of matter and energy, and the structures they form, from sub-atomic particles to entire galactic filaments. Since the early 20th century, the field of cosmology establishes that space and time emerged together at the Big Bang 13.787±0.020 billion years ago [10] and that the universe has been expanding since then. The portion of the universe that can be seen by humans is approximately 93 billion light-years in diameter at present, but the total size of the universe is not known. . . . . #space #universe #interstellar #blackhole #nasa

Why Is the Universe Limited to 11 Dimensions? String theory suggests that the fundamental particles of nature are vibrations of tiny strings or membranes in higher-dimensional space. 🤔Is it possible to build a spaceship that could travel faster than light? 📍Watch the full video!! Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson explained the Alcubierre Drive in the TV show ‘Cosmos: Possible Worlds,’ specifically in the episode titled ‘The Fleeting Grace of the Habitable Zone. What is Alcubierre Drive: 👇 A Alcubierre warp drive is a theoretical spacecraft that would travel in space by distorting space-time. It will contract the space in front of it and expand the space behind it, creating a bubble of space-time that would allow the spaceship to travel at speed faster than light. The warp drive would require either negative mass or a ring of negative energy density to work. ❤️Love science, physics and astronomy?
