SWHalloween will never be the same 🥳 As a vegan and crunchy mom, I really struggle with Halloween candy. Most isn’t vegan, so Baby J is cool with avoiding that, BUT she knows all of the vegan candies and wants to eat them all night. Until this year! She traded her candy in for the Barbie she wanted, and told me she wants to do it every Halloween! It made Halloween night so much fun, and this morning felt like Christmas!
Yes, she did have some candy while Trick-or-Treating, and she chewed Bubble Gum as a part of her Violet Beauregard costume. She only wanted to keep one piece of candy before bed, a Ring Pop––can’t blame her 💍 I’m so pleased with how well this worked! ITLa switch witch es una tradición que adoptamos desde el año pasado aquí en mi casa, te cuento que es! Consiste en llegar de pedir halloween y seleccionar algunos dulces para quedarnos y la mayoría dejarlos en la canasta para que en la noche venga la switch witch y cambie los dulces por un regalito. Lo que me gusto de este trend es que involucras a tu hijx en el proceso de deshacerte de los dulces, sin tirarlos a escondidas o decirle que son malos simplemente es un intercambio de una cosa por otra y tan tan.
Siempre lo digo mi goal no es que no coman dulces si no que tengan una buena relación con la comida, por eso no etiquetamos la comida como buena o mala.
Mi regla de oro es: podemos comer de todo mientras comamos de todo, o sea la paleta, el chayote, la carne y el aguacate por poner un ejemplo, obviamente no tengo en mi despensa nada con ingredientes tóxicos pero si llega de una piñata o del kinder con productos así no hacemos big deal y si se come algunos, otra cosa importante, JAMÁS usamos la comida como premio o condicionante y siempre le digo “comida es comida” desde las galletas hasta las sardinas, so far me ha funcionado maravilloso por lo general se termina primero todo lo de su plato y termina dejando el dulce a la mitad porque se empalaga, definitivamente el hecho de que no haya consumido azúcares añadidos antes de los 2 años y muy muy casual de 2-3 ha sido clave para que coma maravilloso
