SYPOV: You’re homesick for a decade you never lived in.
You know you were there. You just can't prove it.
And that bothers you more than it should.

No lessons, childhood instruments or “this is my destiny” moment.
Just a summer… eight-ish years ago…
listening to music and thinking:
“Why not try making something of my own?”
Absolutely rude of a single thought to have that much power.
But here we are.
Now the whole project lives inside FL Studio.
"I complain about it a lot, but somehow, I can’t let it go (╥_╥)."
Because being self-taught doesn’t feel like learning…
Its a bit like repeatedly walking into furniture you left in the dark.
and the 2 am urge to delete everything and become a person with hobbies instead.
Plus perfectionism… The unpaid intern who never shuts up.
So you leave it. You come back later. You stop comparing unfinished thoughts to someone else’s polished tracks.
That’s how you end up with things like
“re: 17 years & 92 days of summer.”
Those tracks just… happened.
So naturally… he still can’t recreate that feeling again.
The worst kind of magic...
The kind that disappears the moment you notice it working.
The influences don’t try to overpower that feeling either.
