_TI ran the Moab 240 mile ultramarathon in 2024 and thought it was the farthest I’d ever run.
But in 2 hours I will attempt to run 300 miles through the Arizona Desert for the Arizona Monster 300.
Do hard things. Push your limits. Tomorrow isn’t promised to any man, woman, or child.
Look yourself in the mirror and say “you can go a lot further than you think.”

OMPOV Running MOAB 240 Part 7
Someone told me, if you make it to Shay Mountain, then you can finish the race. This was a huge milestone. From the beginning of the race, all I focused on was getting to Shay Mountain in time. This was also the point where I finally saw my crew. I haven’t had crew access in 100+ miles, I was in rough shape.

CLArizona Monster 300 Update: Michael McKnight leading in 1st place on day 4 at mile 262, just leaving Apache Springs Aid station to Casa Blanca station which is a 22 mile segment with some climbs and then downhill from there.
@mikejmcknight came in looking strong, despite the strong heat across Arizona.

They Covered 300 miles on feet, 40,000 feet of climbing and 40,000 feet descending while surviving 100 degree weather some of the 7 days.
They had course sweepers behind them but they didn't let up & finished strong. Anyone who's ever chased a race cutoff time knows how impressive it is to outpace the sweepers, much less for over 100 miles!
