However, I persevered and implemented certain strategies to stay competitive in the tech job market and industry. Through upskilling and role changes, I successfully transitioned in my career. With a strategic approach, you can break into the job market and achieve career advancements. Here are the steps I took to elevate my journey in tech: Step 1: Identify Your Niche. I focused on a specific area of tech that aligns with my skills and interests, helping me stand out in a crowded job market. Step 2: Build a Strong Online Presence. I created a professional LinkedIn profile, and GitHub repository to showcase my projects and skills. Step 3: Network and Attend Industry Events. I connected with professionals in my niche through online communities, meetups, and conferences, leading to valuable advice, mentorship, and job opportunities. Step 4: Develop In-Demand Skills. I continuously learned and upskilled in areas like AI, blockchain, and AR/VR. Step 5: Tailor Your Application Materials. I crafted a resume and cover letter highlighting my relevant experience, skills, and achievements. Step 6: Practice Your Interview Skills.
