KAI'm debating whether to crochet a temperature blanket this year. I always think about this on January 1st, especially after seeing other people posting their beautiful completed ones for the previous year, but I quite often regret it a few months later 😅
My other thought is to make one for 1966, the birth year of both myself and my husband, since we'll both be 60 this year. I already have the daily high and low temperatures thanks to friend who made one for her sister using my 2024 design. If I do make one for 1966, I would like it to have a retro 60s or 70s look. I need to research a bit I think. At least I don't need to stick to a time schedule I guess.
Here are the 4 I have crocheted in the past. I also made a patchwork fabric one in 2023. That was a real pain and cost a fortune 😂

ITI can’t believe I’ve been doing this project for 2 years!!! If you’re new here I’m in Kansas and I base these blankets off of our high temperature of the day! What do you think of the temperature blankets? It’s so much fun to compare it to the gardening years!! Pretty positive I’ll be moving on from this project because I want to learn sewing and knitting this year, but it was super fun to learn crochet as I did these! 🧶❤️
