GOPreview night at The Patch for The Loop, a 9-hole short course designed by @tigerwoods
There were certainly exciting expectations for this entire project and from the very first point of arrival I was blown away. The attention to detail, the hospitality, every aspect of the facility… just expertly done. No one can do something like this better than the fine folks off of Washington Rd.
As for The Loop itself, it’s outstanding. Friendly for any skill level, yet enough challenge and movement on the greens to keep your attention. An easy walk that meanders through where the First Tee driving range once was. The longest hole coming in at 115, the shortest at 55. Our loop with four golfers took exactly 60 minutes, which again… perfect and intentional.
The lights are precisely configured to hit in all the right places and the turf tee boxes are needed for the amount of play it will see. 10/10 experience
Excited to give the course a spin here soon and check out the rest. I’m not sure there will be another muni in the country where Pinehurst is the floor. Special place! #golfaugusta
