Jamaican Style Oxtail Mac & Cheese Recipe 🇯🇲🔥 SAVE & share if you’d try this one ❤️ ✨Ingredients (Oxtail): • 1 kg oxtail (cut pieces) • 2 tbsp all-purpose seasoning • 1 tsp black pepper • 1 tbsp minced garlic • 2 tbsp green seasoning • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce • 1 tbsp browning • ½ red, ½ green & ½ yellow bell pepper (diced) • 1 small onion (diced) • 1 tbsp brown sugar • 1 tbsp oil • 3–4 cups hot water (as needed while cooking) 🧀 Ingredients (Mac & Cheese): • 400g macaroni (I use spirali) • 3 tbsp butter • 3 tbsp flour • 3 cups whole milk • 1 cup grated cheddar • 1 cup grated mozzarella • ½ cup grated red Leicester (for colour & flavour) • 1 tsp all-purpose seasoning • ½ tsp salt • ½ tsp Aromat 🔥 Method: 1️⃣ Season oxtail with all-purpose, black pepper, garlic, green seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, browning, bell peppers & onion. Marinate overnight if possible. 2️⃣ Heat oil in a pot, caramelise brown sugar, then add oxtail and mix. Cover and let it release its natural juices. 3️⃣ Add hot water from the same bowl you seasoned in, pour over oxtail and slow-cook 3 hours (or pressure cook ~45 mins) until tender and falling off the bone. Once cool, debone it. 4️⃣ For the mac & cheese: melt butter, whisk in flour to form a roux, then slowly add milk while whisking till smooth. 5️⃣ Season with all-purpose, salt & Aromat, then remove from heat and stir in all three cheeses until creamy. 6️⃣ Fold in the cooked macaroni. 7️⃣ In an ovenproof dish, layer shredded oxtail at the bottom, add a sprinkle of cheese, top with creamy mac, then finish with more cheese. 8️⃣ Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 mins, then broil 5 mins for that crust 👌🏽 Would you try this combo? 👀

This thing isn’t just a blender, it’s a cocktail-making dream — it crushes ice, blends like a boss, and makes the smoothest strawberry daiquiris (yes, that’s my cocktail of choice… I’m hardly cracking open a beer) From pool noodle upholstery in mustard velvet (trust me, it works ), to a hidden wine rack that feels fancy but cost pennies — I’m honestly chuffed with how this bar came together. Why is everyone leaving London and no one wants to be in the UK anymore? Out of all the countries, UK has seen the highest exit of millionaires last year… Almost 16.5k millionaires… which for context is double the number of millionaires who left China, and 4X the number that left India in the same period. And it’s happened because of two things that they did to their economy… 1/ The Labour Market 2/ The Housing Market Over the past two decades, they got so many cheap workers from countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, surrounding European countries… That wages and salaries over the past 15 years have stayed stagnant adjusted for inflation while things are becoming expensive… Such that an educated professional makes 2X the money in New York at just a 30% hike in cost of living… And almost the same amount in Dubai with no taxes and 30% lower cost of living… So all the talent and educated class has been leaving the country. Then comes the housing issue… Which has roots in the reforms made in the late 1970s that gave tenants of govt housing to buy the govt housing at a discount… This created no incentive for private builders to build homes… And the housing shortage in the UK is so dire that London today has close to 200k homeless people… that’s 2% of their population… Possibly the highest homelessness for any developed country of the world. Now to support these homeless people, the govt has spent so much tax payer money… That money has not gone into innovation, manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare… That has left UK as possibly the worst performer in OECD countries on productivity. So civil infrastructure and healthcare is crippling, taxes are high, salaries aren’t enough, and people can’t afford houses. On top of it, the people being elected are immigrants that the original inhabitants are not seemingly in the favour of. The UK economy is in quite a downward spiral, and we have no idea what economic reforms they will come up with to bring growth in the country. Let’s hope there is a turn around. #casarthakahuja
