Limiting choices leads to unique ideas. In this clip, I am working with the center of the drum and one rim. These “zones” are triggering Omnisphere inside Cubase Pro. The bass notes are on the rim and the chord structure is in the center. Using a “press roll” and other drum rudiments to play synth sounds is inherently going to produce textures that are unexpected and different. #composer #sounddesign #synth #electronicmusic #exploring
