OFUse it! Whether it’s a wedding registry, a baby registry, or any other kind of registry, use it! It’s so important to remember how much time and effort the recipient(s) put in to organizing and picking out the items on their registry.
They chose what they wanted for a reason. It may not be what you like or what you would want, but it is what they want.
If you want to be a more thoughtful gift giver, be sure to shop the registry. If you want to take it to the next level, do the following:
🎁 Wrapping: if you are able to, consider shipping the registry item to yourself and wrap the item beautifully. Put it in a special box or a gorgeous reusable gift bag. The presentation shows your care!
💌 Card: be sure to write a handwritten note, even if you are shipping the registry item directly to the recipient. Take the time to pick out a card that matches the occasion and write a heartfelt note. Do you like getting handwritten notes and cards in the mail? Your friends and family probably do too!
🌼 Attachment: if you are delivering the gift in person, consider attaching a favorite candy or consumable food product (be mindful of all allergies or restrictions), include a small framed photo, a favorite recipe, or other small item that the recipient might like.
