sm thoughts on this bc i love adulthood BUT i miss the genuine whimsy & wonder i had for the world back when i hadn't experienced it yet. there's something so magical about being a teenager experiencing independence for the first time, and having SO MUCH to discover. kids have no independence, and adults lose the ability to wonder. but your teenage years are a rare mix of both, so you feel every emotion & every experience with x10 intensity. as an adult, there are way less "first experiences" left to have, so everything feels a bit milder. would i go BACK to being a teenager?
