Sometime in the early 90s…
In this clip from @thethrowbackmixtapes it highlights all the ways we’ve changed — and in some ways become so dependent on technology.
The line that stuck with me most was, “So in the future, nobody just sits with the quiet…like ever…that sounds really exhausting.”
It’s makes me miss landlines and the days where we stayed outside until dark with no phones in hand.
What do you miss most from the 90s?
Here are 3 things to remember:
💛 Take tech breaks. Your phone doesn’t need to be with you every second. Your brain is on overload.
💛 Get outside daily. Stand in the sun and touch grass. It can help you feel more grounded and calm.
💛 Practice being present. Pay attention to the people you are with instead of scrolling. You can’t get that time back.
