Here are the 4 keys we focused on — and why they work:
1️⃣ Study the game — Watch the best in your position and break it down. We even drew it on paper so it stuck.
2️⃣ Get stronger — Power on the ice starts with strength off the ice. Build a base that makes everything else easier.
3️⃣ Practice skills daily — Practice might give you 20 reps… but 15 minutes at home = 100+. That’s how you make real jumps.
4️⃣ Be the most conditioned — Fast is good… but fast AND conditioned wins games. Be the player who never slows down.
