FIThe fishtail braid!! Takes longer than a traditional braid because the sections are smaller but the outcome is so cool and definitely levels up a hairstyle.
Tips for best outcome:
✔️Make sure the small sections you pull from the larger two sections come from the top back of the section of hair.
✔️If you want a tighter fishtail look, take very small, the sections of hair. If you want it to look more full comparable to a normal braid, you can take bigger sections. I personally think smaller looks best!
✔️Once the braid is finished and closed off, gently tug at the sections of hair to give it more volume. With a fishtail braid, a tug on one section make cause another section to get smaller after already tugged, so you’ll need to do multiple rounds up and down the braid to get the “full” look.
✔️Smooth the strands hanging down after each addition to the section. With so much switching of hair from section to section, the hair can easily get tangled and will it hard to continue the braid and the keep each part you weave as clean looking.
