There are a few myths going around about the new PMP exam, so let’s clear them up. Myth 1: There are more questions now. People are saying the exam has increased from 180 to 185 questions. That’s not correct. It’s still 180 questions. Myth 2: The breaks have been shortened. Some posts claim the breaks have changed from 2 x 10 minute breaks to 2 x 5 minute breaks. Also not correct. It’s still 2 x 10 minute breaks. Myth 3: There is a lot more to study. Yes, the Business domain has expanded from 8% to 26% of the exam. But the content hasn’t suddenly increased. What has actually happened is that concepts like managing risks, managing issues, and change control have been moved from the Process domain into the Business domain. So it is the same information, just organized differently. If you’ve been studying project management already, you are not starting again from scratch. Don’t let the rumors slow you down. Don’t wait for the “perfect” moment. Go for your PMP. 🚀 I truly believe you can pass your PMP this year. Want the full context? Watch the full video, link in bio.

TPM on paper is easy. Files look perfect, audits get cleared, and posters are everywhere. But real TPM starts only when people follow standards, machines are maintained daily, and losses are attacked on the shop floor — not in meetings. If TPM exists only in documents, it’s not TPM. It’s decoration. #TPM #TotalProductiveMaintenance #TPMReality #ManufacturingLife #ShopFloorTruth #IndustrialEngineering

Day (37/100) If you’re starting from zero in 2026, here’s the exact roadmap I’d follow: Step 1: Understand what PMs actually do Before learning anything, know the role. PM = Problem solving + User understanding + Business impact. Not just “ideas” or “features”. Step 2: Build product thinking (Weeks 1–4) Every day: • Pick one app • Ask: What problem does it solve? • What would I improve and why? Document your thoughts. This becomes your raw material for interviews. Step 3: Learn the core skills (Weeks 2–8) Focus only on what matters: • Product sense (improvements, prioritization) • Basic tech understanding (APIs, databases, how features work) • Metrics (North Star, funnels, retention) • User research & problem framing No need for heavy coding. Just enough to talk to engineers confidently. Step 4: Build proof of work (Weeks 6–10) Don’t wait for a job to “become” a PM. Create: • 2–3 product case studies • 1 product teardown • 1 PRD or feature proposal This is what actually gets you interviews. Step 5: Fix your resume (Week 10) Your resume should show: • Impact (numbers > tasks) • Problem you solved • Decisions you made If you don’t have PM experience, show PM thinking in your current role. Step 6: Start networking (Week 11 onwards) The real game: • 5 cold DMs daily • Ask for referrals, not advice • Apply only to relevant roles Most PM jobs are filled through referrals. Step 7: Prepare for interviews (Weeks 12–16) Focus on: • Product design/improvement • Metrics & analytics • Behavioral (stories of ownership, conflict, impact) Practice out loud. Writing alone isn’t enough. Step 8: Track your pipeline like a PM Applications → Responses → Interviews → Offers If conversion is low, fix the stage. Don’t keep blindly applying (Become a product manager in 2026 by following this roadmap, beginner to PM transition, week by week guide to become a PM, follow and save this) #productmanager #roadmap #job

Dear TPRM Analysts -quick question: Do you actually know what maturity stage your Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program operates at today? Many organizations believe they are doing well because vendors complete questionnaires and share compliance reports. But real maturity is measured by how confidently you can identify and reduce vendor risk *before* it becomes an incident. Here are 5 maturity stages every TPRM analyst should understand: 1️⃣ Reactive Oversight Vendor reviews happen only when procurement pushes onboarding or an audit/security event forces it. Outcome: Limited visibility. Analysts spend most of their time firefighting unknown third-party risks. 2️⃣ Questionnaire-Driven Assessment Security questionnaires, spreadsheets, SOC/ISO reports form the core workflow. Outcome: Structured process but low confidence, because responses are rarely validated. 3️⃣ Evidence-Based Validation Risk teams review actual controls — security architecture, vulnerability management, access controls, incident response. Outcome: Higher trust in vendor controls, but assessments remain periodic rather than continuous. 4️⃣ Continuous Exposure Awareness Vendor attack surfaces, exposed services, leaked credentials, and infrastructure changes are monitored year-round. Outcome: Faster detection of vendor weaknesses and significantly reduced breach probability. 5️⃣ Autonomous Risk Operations Technology automatically analyzes vendor exposure, prioritizes high-risk suppliers, and continuously tracks security posture across hundreds of partners. Outcome: Scale. Analysts focus on strategic risk decisions instead of manual reviews. 💡 Actionable takeaway: • Stage 1–2 → Build validation processes • Stage 3 → Invest in continuous monitoring • Stage 4 → Use automation & AI to scale

#electrical_engineer_0612 🔎 What is a Turns Ratio Test? The Turns Ratio Test (TTR) is a diagnostic test performed on a power transformer to verify that the ratio of primary turns to secondary turns matches the design specification. Since transformer voltage is proportional to the number of turns: Where: = Primary voltage = Secondary voltage = Primary turns = Secondary turns 🎯 Purpose of TTR Test The test is performed to: ✅ Confirm correct turns ratio ✅ Detect shorted turns ✅ Identify open windings ✅ Check tap changer positions ✅ Detect winding deformation after faults ✅ Verify polarity and phase relationship ⚙️ How TTR Test Works A low AC voltage is applied to the primary winding. The voltage induced in the secondary winding is measured. The instrument calculates the turns ratio. The measured ratio is compared with the nameplate ratio. 📊 Acceptable Limits Typical acceptable error: ±0.5% (may vary by manufacturer) Any significant deviation may indicate: Winding short circuit Core problems Tap changer issue 🔌 When is TTR Test Performed? During transformer manufacturing After installation (commissioning test) After fault conditions During routine maintenance 🏭 Types of Transformers Tested Power transformers Distribution transformers Instrument transformers Single-phase & three-phase transformers ⚠️ Important Notes Test must be done with transformer de-energized All connections should be isolated Follow proper grounding and safety procedures
