ALI’ve been thinking about something I call The Robe Theory.
👘 Women who own robes… rest differently.
A robe isn’t just loungewear, it’s an energetic pause.
It’s the moment between doing and being.
Between the shower (the cleanse) and the getting ready (the rush).
🌀It’s the portal of in-between.
Women who wear robes move slower.
They pour coffee slower.
They get ready with softness.
They know that rest isn’t earned…it’s embodied.
They carry the energy of “I can be paid to exist.”
🧖🏽♀️ When I’m in a robe, I remember that nothing good blooms in burnout.
That my value isn’t measured by how fast I move.
That softness is still productive.
It makes me wonder, do younger generations even own robes anymore?
Because our grandmothers did.
And maybe that’s why they had rituals, patience, presence.
Even hotels know the power of a robe.
It’s the universal symbol for you’re safe to rest now.
Spas have them too…to remind your nervous system that this moment belongs to you.
So maybe the robe isn’t just a fabric, it’s a frequency.
A declaration that you’re no longer rushing through your own life.

And she knows her worth.
