HE1. I don’t have as many close relationships as people might expect, and l’m perfectly happy with that.
2. My partner is my best friend and if that’s considered uncool, I’ll take it. I see it as being lucky.
3. I’m now officially on my 4th (and hopefully final) career restart. But for the first time, I have clarity, purpose and 100% drive.
4. Even when things are going well, it’s hard for me to feel proud. My mind jumps straight to what’s next.
5. I’m working on enjoying moments because my default setting is to always be thinking about building, improving, or becoming more.
6. There have been so many periods where I didn’t fully know who I was becoming, I just only knew who I didn’t want to stay as.
7. I’ve compared my timeline to others more than I’d like to admit, even when I know it’s pointless. I’m getting better at this, though.
8. I don’t always talk about what I’m carrying. From the outside I seem calm, but there are moments when a lot is happening internally.
9. Sharing hasn’t always felt natural, especially when there’s a part of me that wants to look like I have it figured out. Could be my Eastern European upbringing, or it might just be me.
