How It Works
The tree spade uses a series of hydraulically powered steel blades that encircle the tree's trunk. These blades drive deep into the soil at an angle to cut through roots and create a cone-shaped mass of earth, known as a root ball. Once the blades are fully engaged, the entire tree and its root system are lifted from the ground to be moved and replanted in a pre-dug hole of the same size.
