This has been all over the internet lately, and I’m sure most of you have already seen these videos. Recently, Trustified shared lab test results where they tested the microbiology quality of milk from some major brands like Amul, Country Delight, and Mother Dairy. According to their testing, some samples showed the presence of harmful bacteria like E. coli and other microbiological indicators. Now, this doesn’t mean every single packet is unsafe but it does mean contamination is possible. And as moms, that’s something we can’t ignore!! One thing this video explains really clearly is how food adulteration and hygiene issues are far more common than we think..not just in milk, but across many everyday food items… We trust labels, approvals, and systems, but the reality is… food safety in India isn’t perfect. Another important point..boiling milk doesn’t automatically fix everything.It can reduce some risk, yes, but it doesn’t undo contamination that has already happened. That’s why the suggestion here is pretty practical… At least for kids, it might be safer to switch to UHT tetra pack milk. UHT milk is processed at very high temperatures and packed in airtight, sterile paper-based packs, which lowers the chances of bacterial growth. And a simple tip, if you ever see a tetra pack that’s puffed up or air-filled, don’t use it. That’s usually a warning sign. This isn’t about fear or attacking any brand. It’s about awareness. Ab eggs me Nitrofurans, Nitroimidazoles, jaise genotoxic residues mil rahe hain , jo long-term me DNA damage aur cancer risk badha sakte hain. Itni badi food regulation authority hone ke baad bhi YouTubers, journalists aur doctors hi saara kaam kar rahe hain , from lab testing, food quality checks to exposing unsafe food brands. India’s food safety crisis is getting out of hand. From the recent Eggoz egg controversy to paneer adulteration and whey protein brands failing lab tests, it’s clear something is broken. And NO — I’m not saying old brands were good. But if this is the direction we’re going, we’re not going anywhere. Consumers today are paying premium prices for products marketed as “organic”, “antibiotic-free”, “chemical-free”, “pure protein”, and yet independent tests repeatedly show inconsistencies. That’s the real problem. Food safety, labeling accuracy, and contamination checks are not my job or yours — they’re supposed to be handled by FSSAI and regulatory bodies. But the gap between marketing claims and actual product quality is only widening, and the accountability is missing. As a consumer, it genuinely feels like one day we’ll have to grow our own food — because trust in packaged products is falling fast.
