“What will I look like right after upper eyelid surgery?” This video shows you what a recovery looks like from Day 0 to Day 10. In the first few days, swelling and bruising are completely normal. That usually peaks around Day 3 or 4, then steadily improves. By Day 7-9, things are settling nicely. And by Day 10, patients feel ready to be out and about (sometimes even sooner than day 10). For closure, we use removable sutures, which we typically take out around Day 5–7. This gives us the most precise result during surgery and allows the tissue to heal cleanly and predictably in the days following. In the upper lid, the procedure reduces hooding and excess skin that can weigh down the eyes and make you look more tired than you feel. Every incision is carefully hidden in the natural crease of the upper lid so that, once healing is complete, it’s nearly invisible. Look at that before and after at the end of the video. It’s a great example of how subtle surgical changes, done thoughtfully, can make a meaningful difference in a person’s overall appearance. And as with any procedure, your healing plays a huge role in your final outcome. Some of the best things you can do post-op: • Eat well • Stay hydrated • Get real rest These small, consistent habits make a real difference in how smoothly you recover, and how good your results look in the long run.

More info on my upper bleph surgery at @coppergateyrk with my surgeon @jsmithplasticsurgery 🤩 A lot of questions on the price - the prices are all on their website 🙌🏼 Getting my tapes and stitches out today so I’ll update you how that goes but below are some key tips that have helped my recovery: - sleep sitting up at all times - don’t touch them, I wore glasses at all times so stop me doing this and whilst sleeping to stop me from touching the pillow - no ice packs or cooling things - take arnica 7 days before and use arnica cream from day 1 until 7 - don’t get them wet at all - no bending down or anything to get the blood to your face #upperblepharoplasty

One week ago I had upper blepharoplasty which removes excess skin on your eyelids I’m sharing the whole healing process from Day1 to Day7.(I had it done last Tuesday). I hope it I can help normalise sharing the full process. After many consulations I attended @dr.juancorado and I can’t recommend him and his team enough. He advised me on so many options such as Co2laser which costs less and has amazing results too. The main aim for this procedure is to give a more youthful and awake appearance and remove sagging skin. If you have any questions ask away!

my eyelids were just getting so heavy, botox wasn’t working for me anymore so i just wanted to do upper bleph surgery. my dr happened to be my brother and i’m serious when i say he’s the best. 🤩he is an occculoplastic surgeon and he did exactly what i wanted. i wanted to look like myself but lighter! the surgery took about 40 minutes. i did it in his office and opted to stay awake. it was honestly just as easy as getting dental work done! he also does it at the surgery center if you want to be asleep for the process. he told me not to fly home the next day but i also don’t listen very well…so i flew home the next day. 🫠that wasn’t my best idea. —always listen to your doctor. @aestheticeyepc my tips: ⭐️go to an occculoplastic surgeon @aestheticeyepc is who did mine. 100/10 recommend. ⭐️take arnica before & after surgery (i wish i would have started it sooner but i didn’t start til day 3 after surgery) ⭐️rest and probably don’t get on a plane the next day🤣 ⭐️lots of ice & frozen peas. i also used some goggles that help with swelling that Dr McInnes recommends ♥️ #blepharoplasty #beforeandaftersurgery #blepharoplastysurgery
