FUThat one time when the U.S. government announced that beginning in December of this year, all eligible males will be automatically signed up for the draft - an escalation from what was previously a mandated self-registration.
Under the Fiscal 2026 National Defense Authorization Act which went into effect late last year, the Selective Service System will now be able to tap into existing government data, such as Social Security Administration information, to automatically register all 18- to 26-year-old men. The deadline to implement the system is in December of this year.
Previously, men were required to register themselves for the draft when they turned 18. Failure to do so was considered a felony and carried potential financial fines and even prison time. In 40 states, it also limited their ability to receive a driver’s license.
Opponents of automatic registration believe allowing the Selective Service System to access other government databases is an invasion of privacy.
The system may also automatically register men who are ineligible to serve, like those with certain disabilities. It would then be on those individuals to notify the government that they were registered incorrectly.

Starting December 2026, the government will begin automatically registering young men at age 18 into the Selective Service system. Before, you had to manually sign up—now it happens through government records like your driver’s license and Social Security.
Let me be clear—there is NO active draft right now. The U.S. military is still 100% voluntary.
But if a national emergency ever happens and Congress approves a draft, men between the ages of 18 to 25 could be called to serve.
As of today, this only applies to men—not women.

Here’s what’s wrong 👇
⚠️ Platforms will be forced to store your data for 180 days, which means more time and more exposure to data breaches.
⚠️ Govt can issue secret orders, advisories, and SOPs that platforms must obey or lose legal protection.
⚠️ The Inter Departmental Committee (IDC) can now act like a censorship board, taking down posts including news, satire, or political criticism, without transparency.
This means less freedom, more fear, and total executive control over what we see and say online.
We’re calling for these draft rules to be withdrawn immediately.
Our right to speak, critique, and create freely is protected by the Constitution, not granted by the government.
