Greatest Golf Shot Of All Time #tigerwoods #golf #usopen #golfswing Tiger Woods' 3 wood shot from 247 yards out on hole six at the 2003 U.S. Open is one that many golfers have seen already, and yet it's such an incredible shot that it's hard not to watch it again and again. Tiger Woods' perfect slice is a shot that we all feel like we can hit, but he is able to actually execute with near perfection even when under the highest pressure possible, at a major tournament. With no direct line to the pin without risking hitting a branch, Tiger Woods had no option other than to take the line he took if he wanted to go for the green, but it's incredible that he pulled it off the way that he did. Truly a shot that made history and will continue to inspire golfers for generations to come.

Carlos Alcaraz won the 2025 US Open final 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 — a performance his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero called “perfect.” And somewhere inside four sets of relentless domination, with the world watching from Arthur Ashe Stadium, Alcaraz hit an overhead from the baseline that curved like a banana shot, tailed into the far corner, and moved past Sinner’s outstretched racket before he could even react. CBS Sports called it “arguably the shot of the match.” The crowd lifted to its feet. Sinner stared at his racket. Even Alcaraz said “Wow.” Sinner is 109-4 against everyone on tour except Alcaraz. This shot is a large part of the explanation. Follow @menacetennishq for more tennis content like this #tennis #CarlosAlcaraz #USOpen

At the 2024 US Open, a viral moment sparked global backlash when Yulia Putintseva appeared to “blank” a ball girl during her third-round match against Jasmine Paolini. In a display many called “disgusting arrogance,” Putintseva stood motionless as the young official, later identified as Kate, threw two balls toward her. The balls simply bounced off the stationary player while she stared blankly, only catching the third ball as boos erupted from the Flushing Meadows crowd. While legends like Boris Becker and Rennae Stubbs condemned the “terrible behavior,” the real story was the professionalism of the ball girl. Despite being treated with total indifference, she held her position, finished her job, and walked away with a quiet shake of her head—proving that you don’t need a ranking to show world-class character. #USOpen #YuliaPutintseva #Tennis #Sportsmanship #RespectTheGame Professionalism

The 2025 US Open final was delayed approximately 50 minutes due to security measures in place for US President Donald Trump — and then Carlos Alcaraz walked out and played arguably the most complete match of his career. He won 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, winning 84.5% of first-serve points in the opening set and outhitting Sinner comprehensively in the third to race to a 5-0 lead. It was the first time in Open Era history that two players had contested three Grand Slam finals against each other in the same calendar season — Sinner had won Wimbledon, Alcaraz had won Roland Garros after saving three championship points, and now Alcaraz was taking New York. His sixth Grand Slam at 22 years old. Sinner stood at the trophy ceremony and said: “You were better than me. Enjoy it. It’s a great moment.” The rivalry is 10-5 to Alcaraz. The season was 2-2. New York was the decider. He celebrated with a golf swing in tribute to Sergio García. The most complete player in the world, at his best tournament, delivering his best performance. Jon McLean wanted to build a putting trading aid that had your golf ball start on the ground. It’s also important that this one requires an 11 inch start through the tees. You can move this training aid from place to place on the green easily. Brooks Koepka used this one when he finished 4th in the US Open and got his PGA Tour card. What is important in putting. Well, several keys. But one is your ability to start the ball on your intended line. There are many different looking 👀 putting strokes that work beautifully but you have to get the putt stated on the line you choose! @jontmclean @scarlettschremmer @bkoepka @jimmcleanbiltmore @thebiltmoremiami #putting #golf #1golfschool @lenmattiace @bfaxon #golflessons #1golfschool

Novak Djokovic built the greatest career in men’s tennis history on a very specific foundation — the ability to retrieve balls that should not come back, extend rallies that opponents thought were over, and outlast anyone on any surface at any score. Taylor Fritz is 6’4”, hits the ball extremely hard, and is one of the ten best players in the world. This rally at the US Open is what happens when those two realities collide on the fastest hard court surface in the game. Fritz generates pace. Djokovic redirects it. Fritz generates more pace. The point continues. Arthur Ashe Stadium watches. Nobody is entirely sure when it ends. Follow @menacetennishq for more tennis content like this #tennis #Djokovic #USOpen
