I did it y’all!! Successful vbac after two c-sections! After being told I couldn’t, it wasn’t a good idea, get a c section, the baby is too big, & midwives turning me away, etc., WE DID IT! & this big guy was 9 pounds 3oz! 🫶 I’m so proud of myself and my body! Our bodies are truly amazing! For those of you who are hoping for the same in the future YOU CAN DO IT! Some affirmations that helped me get through labor were: “Your body was made for this!” “You can do anything for 60 seconds!” “Each contraction is one step closer to your baby!” This was a super empowerful moment for me! I don’t think there is anything I can’t do at this point! #vbacsuccess #natural #birth #maternity #summer #workingmom #workingout #postpartum #grwm #amazon #parenting #momhack

37 weeks. One previous C-section. She walked in with mild pains and one question ‘Doctor, can I deliver normally this time?’ Her last C-section was 5 years ago. Reason? Baby passed meconium and had cord around the neck. And here’s what many women don’t know: Not every previous C-section means the next one has to be surgery too. If the first cesarean happened for a reason that is unlikely to repeat, if the scar is healthy, baby is doing well, and labor starts naturally VBAC can be a safe option in selected cases and at a center where proper monitoring can be done. One scar does not always mean a lifetime of scars. But the decision should always be individualized, monitored, and made safely. #vbac #pregnancy #cesarean #momtobe #obstetricsandgynecology Would you go for a VBAC if everything is in its favour?

I told my doctor from the beginning I wanted to avoid getting another c-section. He said “let’s try it” and fully supported me without any “buts”. As I entered my third trimester he told me there’s a possibility I’d have to get a c section. I wasn’t discouraged but more thought “whatever God wants” By the grace of God I was able to experience a VBAC and was amazed all over again over what a woman’s body can do. If you’re doubting your ability to have a vbac after a c section, here is your sign to have faith. 🤍regardless the goal is a healthy baby ✨ #vbac #vbacbaby #laboranddelivery #storytime #csectionmom #pregnancyisbeautiful #pregnancyjourney #momof2 #mommy #godisgood #relatable #faith #foryou

We can’t help but want to share this joyful video from @6lair on TikTok. “Now I get to VABC dudes!” 🤣🤣 April is Cesarean Awareness Month VBAC stands for Vaginal Birth After Cesarean • Many people who’ve had a C-section can safely have a vaginal birth in a later pregnancy • Success rates are about 60–80% for those who attempt VBAC • VBAC often means: – Shorter recovery time – Lower risk of infection – Less blood loss compared to repeat C-sections • Not everyone is a candidate — it depends on factors like: – Type of previous C-section incision – Number of prior C-sections – Overall pregnancy health Your birth, your choice. VBAC is a safe and empowering option for many—when supported with the right care. 💛 #VBAC #BirthChoices #InformedConsent

They said she couldn’t. They said she could die. They said her uterus would rupture. They said her baby may not survive. They said a vaginal birth after three C-sections and a uterine window was impossible. But God 🙌 He writes a different story. This mama didn’t need another fear-based lecture, she needed someone to look her in the eye and say, “You can.” And by the grace of God, she did. I just walked out of L&D grinning like a wild woman because I witnessed a miracle: A VBAC after 3 cesareans at 42 weeks and 3 days ☺️ A birth no one believed in… except her and the God who made her body and me, her doula 😊 Faith isn’t denial of risk. It’s belief in a higher authority. Women of faith are a different breed because we listen to the voice of the Spirit over the voice of fear. I’m not here to argue with statistics. I’m here to tell you that there’s a God who still does the impossible and He is for you! ✨ Are you ready to silence fear and stand in faith for your birth story? ✨ You can have a different outcome. You can believe God for the impossible. 🔥 If you’re looking for truth and support, join me inside Birth From the Secret Place. Let’s change the narrative. It’s probably not what you think 👇🏼 Simply by choosing to have a VBAC — your odds of success are about 60-80% — pretty good. You know what increases your odds of success to 87%? Having a home birth. 87% of women who plan a VBAC at home will be successful. That is SIGNIFICANT. Some people say, “But what if something goes wrong? You’re far from a hospital.” & yes, emergencies can happen — but here’s the thing: a skilled home birth midwife can often spot complications far earlier than a hospital can. Because they are trained to understand normal, physiologic birth in its entirety, they notice subtle changes in labor, fetal heart patterns, or maternal status that indicate something might be off. At home, your midwife’s full attention is on you & your baby, rather than a ward of patients or routine protocols. This early detection, combined with a solid transfer plan, is why home VBACs can be both safe & empowering. By planning a VBAC at home, you: 〰️ have freedom to move, eat, & labor in any position 〰️ can labor without interruptions, routine checks, or unnecessary interventions 〰️ are in a calm, familiar environment which reduces stress & fear 〰️ have continuous, personalized support from a midwife & your chosen birth team 〰️ are paced according to your body & your baby’s needs — no clocks 〰️ are deeply connected to your body, instincts, & faith throughout the process Home birth isn’t just about avoiding hospitals — it’s about creating the best possible environment for a safe, empowered, successful VBAC. If you’d like birth education that prepares your mind, body, & soul for VBAC — comment METHOD.

as a mom who had a successful unmedicated hospital VBAC, these are 5 things I wish every mama knew going into this experience ✨ 1. your mindset matters more than you think | in the hardest moments, your mind will try to convince you that you can’t do it, especially after a previous c-section. the mental work you do during pregnancy (mantras, meditation, self-compassion, nervous system support) truly changes how you show up in labor. ✨ 2. labor is a physical event | you wouldn’t show up to a marathon without training, and birth is no different. movement and strength during pregnancy look different for everyone, but staying active (when cleared by your care team) can make a huge difference. if you’re unsure how to move safely, find a qualified professional to guide you. ✨ 3. just because interventions exist doesn’t mean you have to use them | hospitals get a bad rap, but knowledge is power. the more you understand all options, what you want and what you don’t, the more confidently you can advocate for yourself. birth plans help, and flexibility matters, but that education has to happen before you’re in pain. ✨ 4. your care team is so important | interview providers. ask questions. trust your gut. make sure the vibes are vibing. i truly believe my VBAC wouldn’t have happened without my supportive midwife and doula in my corner. ✨ 5. bring comfort with you | music, oils, your own pillow, soft lighting; whatever helps you feel safe and grounded. i even had my midwife advocate for a room with a tub because i knew warm water was non-negotiable for me. every birth is different, but you deserve to feel informed, supported, and empowered in yours. this isn’t medical advice, just lived experience. if you’re preparing for a VBAC, you’re not alone. trust your body, build your team, and do the prep 🫶🏽 #vbacjourney #naturalbirth #holisticpregnancy #birthwisdom #mamasupportingmamas

Are you trying for a VBAC? ➡️ SAVE this post or share with a friend! Research shows up to 80% of VBACs are “successful,” but please know that a cesarean delivery does not mean you have “failed.” All births are beautiful. My mother had all 4 of us children via cesarean delivery and I do not know a stronger or more caring mother 🖤 Here are some of my top tips to prepare for a VBAC: - work with a pelvic floor therapist - find a provider who believes in and supports you with your decision - address any scar tissue restrictions - prioritize internal rotation movements of the hips to lengthen the pelvic floor - add pelvic floor mobility and release work - practice open glottis breathing - prioritize labor prep earlier than 36 weeks Even if your VBAC does not result in a vaginal delivery, all of the above tips will greatly improve your cesarean recovery, so please know that the work you put in will not go to waste! I’ve prayed for a Vbac for more than 10 years! My first pregnancy was twins and ended up in a C-section due to pre-eclampsia at 35.5 weeks. My second pregnancy, I tried for a Vbac but later realized my provider really wasn’t Vbac friendly. At my 36.5 week ultrasound, she said my baby had IUGR and if I didn’t go into labor naturally within a week, he had a high probability of being stillborn. I chose to have a C-section because I was scared. He was born right at 7lbs at 37.5 weeks and was perfectly healthy. My 3rd pregnancy was triplets and ended up in an emergency C-section at 32.5 weeks due to TTTS. My last twin pregnancy was a scheduled C-section because I couldn’t find a provider that would allow me to try for a Vbac with twins after 3 C-sections. They were born at 38.5 weeks. Fast forward six years—we found out we were expecting baby #9. After years of praying for a Vbac, I knew this was my chance for a redemptive birth. I educated myself on my rights and learned how to be an advocate for myself. I spent time in prayer and had a supernatural peace that really couldn’t be explained. I knew God was calling me to this and I could trust Him completely. Looking back I’m so grateful I didn’t listen to all the voices telling me it wasn’t possible. It deepened my relationship and dependence on God and for that I’m forever grateful. 🫶 I ended up having a successful Vbac after 4 C-sections at 40 weeks. Moral of the story: There’s always going to be people in our life that are telling us we can’t do something ( and a lot of times it’s ourselves) BUT I want to encourage you to follow Gods leading for your life because being in His will is the best place to be! 🤍 Do you agree? ❤️ . . . . . . . . . . . .#largefamily #vba4c #vbac #csectionmama #9kids #triplets #twins #twinsandmultiples #momofmultiples ##largefamilylife #bigfamilies #triplets #tripletmom #twinmomlife #twinningiswinning #homeschoolmom #momlifehacks #christianbloggers #largefamilymom #naturalbirth #csection #csectionrecovery #csectionawareness #vbachopeful #vbactips #vbacfacts #vbacbaby #vbacdoula #vbacjourney
