ROMamičky, ruku na srdce. Koľkokrát ste počuli, že vaše dieťa je „uplakané“, „precitlivené“, alebo že si „vymýšľa“, keď ho škriabe štítok na tričku či mu vadí hluk v nákupnom centre? Možno vám okolie radilo, aby ste boli prísnejšie, lebo vám „prerastie cez hlavu“.
Vysoká citlivosť (HSC – Highly Sensitive Child) nie je moderný výmysel ani výchovné zlyhanie. Je to biologický fakt.
Nervová sústava VCD funguje inak. Predstavte si, že kým bežné dieťa vníma svet cez 5-megapixelový fotoaparát, vaše dieťa ho vníma v 8K rozlíšení.
Spracovávajú informácie hlbšie. Každý podnet, vôňa, tón hlasu či emócia v miestnosti prechádza ich filtrom omnoho intenzívnejšie.
Rýchlejšie sa zahltia. To, čo iné deti vnímajú ako zábavu, môže byť pre ne „senzorický hluk“, ktorý vyústi do plaču alebo zdanlivo bezdôvodného hnevu.
Majú obrovskú empatiu. Cítia vašu nervozitu skôr, než si ju priznáte vy samé.
U VCD metódy ako „vyplakať“ alebo prísne tresty nefungujú – spôsobujú im totiž reálnu psychickú bolesť a pocit ohrozenia. Ich mozog v strese nevníma „lekciu“, ktorú mu chcete dať, ale prepína do režimu prežitia.
Spoločné spanie alebo nosenie nie je rozmaznávanie. Je to prejavovanie bezpečia.V noci spracovávajú všetky tie intenzívne vnemy dňa a potrebujú vašu prítomnosť, aby sa upokojili.
Keď dieťa povie, že ponožka „tlačí“, netreba mu hovoriť, že netlačí. Preňho je to v tej chvíli neznesiteľný pocit.
Citlivosť neznamená absenciu pravidiel. Znamená to však, že pravidlá komunikujeme s láskou, nie z pozície moci.
Byť mamou vysoko citlivého dieťaťa (VCD) je vyčerpávajúce. Často ste vy tými, ktoré držia priestor pre všetky tie veľké emócie. Ale vedzte, že vaša neha je pre ne liekom.
Tieto deti majú potenciál vyrásť v nesmierne vnímavých, kreatívnych a empatických dospelých. Ak im dnes doprajete dosť blízkosti a lásky, vybudujete im pevný koreň, vďaka ktorému sa ich citlivosť v dospelosti nezmení na úzkosť, ale na ich najväčšiu prednosť.
Mamy, dôverujte svojmu inštinktu. Ak cítite, že vaše dieťa potrebuje viac objatí ako trestov, urobte tak💖
