Gemma Monk, 35, was left sobbing as black paint drenched her £1,800 wedding dress and streaked across her face, arm, and chest inside a grand Victorian venue in Kent. The attacker fled, leaving chaos behind, but not defeat.
Despite the humiliation, the tears and the shock, the bride refused to let bitterness win. Scrubbing herself clean and slipping into a last-minute replacement dress, she made her entrance two hours later to marry her childhood sweetheart of 20 years.
