Peaceful hiking trail near Melbourne! 😍 - Hidden just outside Daylesford in Victoria’s spa country, the Twin Bridges to Tipperary Springs Walk is one of the most underrated hikes near Melbourne. This easy 5km loop takes you past gentle creek crossings, vibrant wildflowers and historic water races from the gold rush. The highlight of the walk is Tipperary Springs, where you can fill up your bottle with fresh mineral water straight from the source! The walk only takes around two hours, making it perfect for a half-day adventure. When you make it back to Twin Bridges you can finish it off with a dip at the swimming hole to rest your legs! Save this one for your next escape from the city. - p.s- when I did this hike in early December, the tap at Tipperary Springs wasn’t working! Victoria is packed with incredible national parks, but this one completely blew our minds – and we hadn’t even heard of it until we accidentally stumbled across it. ✨ This is Mount Buffalo National Park ✨ Located in the Victorian High Country, Mount Buffalo National Park offers some of the most jaw-dropping views in the state. From dramatic granite cliffs to alpine scenery and lush waterfalls, it feels wild, peaceful and seriously underrated. It’s the kind of place where every turn in the road reveals another “wow” moment. Things to do in Mount Buffalo National Park: 💦 Chase waterfalls • Eurobin Falls – an easy walk with a stunning multi-tiered waterfall that’s especially impressive after rain. • Ladies Bath Falls – a short track leading to a beautiful cascade tucked into the forest. • Rollasons Falls – a quieter spot if you’re looking to escape the crowds. 👀 Soak up the views from The Horn One of the best viewpoints in the Victorian High Country, offering sweeping alpine views that stretch endlessly on a clear day. 🥾 Go hiking – top 3 hikes: • The Horn Track • Lake Catani Loop Walk • Mount Buffalo Gorge Heritage Walk 🚴 Road bike the main road A bucket-list ride for cyclists, with smooth roads, epic scenery and a solid climb through alpine landscapes. 📍📍HERE📍📍 Follow @brittandmitchworldwide for more epic Australia content 🐨🇦🇺 Bridgewater Waterhole is such a relaxed riverside spot on the Loddon River near @bridgewater_hotel_ hotel (which you can go for an epic lunch afterwards) a nice easy place to chill, swim or picnic with mates (and pups 🐶). The water is calm and shallow, and there’s a grassy slope and deck right down to the river 💦🌿 Parking here is super easy you can pull up pretty much right by the waterhole and picnic areas, so no long walks with all your gear. There are built-in shaded picnic spots with tables and undercover BBQs close by, plus bathrooms nearby too 😊 It’s usually way quieter than the big, busy places, which makes it perfect for some relaxed river vibes without crowds. 🦮 Good news for dog lovers: Dogs are allowed here as long as they’re kept on a lead. 📍 Bridgewater Waterhole, VIC 🏊‍♂️ Swimming + picnics 🚗 Parking right nearby ⛱ Shade & BBQ tables 🐶 Dog-friendly on lead Please help leave no trace and help protect these beautiful spots 💚 @explorebendigo @visitloddonvalley #BridgewaterWaterhole #ExploreBendigo #VisitVictoria #HiddenGemsVictoria #LoddonRiver

It’s sadly not available to stay anymore, but this setup does live on — the tiny house, sauna and tubs are all actually available to purchase. 🥾 Everything you need to know about hiking Cape Woolamai Circuit on Phillip Island 🏖️🦘 📌 You’re going to want to save this one for your trip to @visitvictoria This might be the BEST hike we’ve ever done in Victoria! Despite visiting Phillip Island many times, we’ve never done this hike before now and can’t believe we’ve been missing out all this time. It has heaps of wildlife, epic coastal views and doesn’t have too much uphill. We saw heaps of wallabies, shearwaters and an echidna. ‼️It is so important to stay on the path on this hike to protect the wildlife! There’s up to a million nesting shearwaters here! 🥾 The Basics: Cape Woolamai Circuit Length - 8.6km return Elevation - 150m Time - 2-3hours (or longer if you sit and take in the views!) 🔁 This is a circuit trail 🅿️ Parking is free at Woolamai Surf Club 🌊 You have to watch the tides for this one. You’ll only be able to access the beach sections at low tide! ⏰ We’d suggest doing the hike clockwise, to finish overlooking the ocean. We tested out some @columbiaaustralia gear on this hike and were so impressed! I don’t think we’ve ever been comfier on a hike. It was a warm day, but the Silver Ridge ultility convertible pants gave us the option to cool off (Rory’s choice) or protect our legs from the march flies (Loz’s choice)!
