πŸ‘οΈ This Exercises Improves Your Vision πŸ” 1. Near-Far Focus Activity β€’ This exercise is like push-ups for your eyes, strengthening your focusing system. β€’ How to do it: β€’ Cover one eye with your hand. β€’ Hold a finger, pen, or pencil in front of your uncovered eye. β€’ Slowly bring it closer until it becomes slightly blurry, then stop and refocus to make it clear. β€’ Hold focus for 5 seconds, visualizing your pupil locking in and getting smaller. β€’ Shift your focus to a distant point as far as possible. Relax your focus and hold for 5 seconds. β€’ Alternate between near and far focus for a few minutes. β€’ Repeat with the other eye. πŸ”„ Why it works: β€’ It activates and relaxes the focusing muscles in your eyes, improving near and far vision flexibility. 🧠 Tip: Consistency is key. Treat this like a workout for your eyes to see gradual improvement over time. πŸ—£οΈ Speakers: Dave Asprey, Dr. Bryce Appelbaum 🎡 Music: Linkin Park - One More Light 🎬 Video: Dave Asprey (YouTube) Contact us for credit or removal requests (no copyright intended) ©️ All rights and credits reserved to the respective owner(s).

Did you know this about your & your kids’ brain?! 🧠✨ Can you complete all the exercises?! 🚨 Comment β€œHigh Level” for more information! ⬇️ What if I told you that the simple, playful activities you do with your kids can actually supercharge their brain? βš‘πŸ‘¦πŸ‘§ By adding exercises that activate different brain zonesβ€”right and left hemispheres, memory pathways, and motor circuitsβ€”you’re not just burning energy. You’re building focus, mental clarity, learning strength, and reducing brain fog in a natural, powerful way. πŸ’‘πŸŒˆ Here’s what’s happening inside the brain: β€’ Movement + coordination = increased blood flow + stronger neural connections πŸš€ β€’ Brain-gym and cross-body drills boost attention, working memory, and cognitive flexibility 🎯 β€’ Less mental clutter, fewer restless nights, better learning and retention πŸ˜΄βž‘οΈπŸ“š Try this challenge: Choose 1–2 fun β€œbrain moves” each dayβ€”cross crawls, mirror movements, rhythm drills, bilateral coordination games. @drbryceappelbaum-doing eye exercises is just not on most of our radars. I have plenty of patients in their 70s, even some in their 80s who go to the eye gym and they delay the need for glasses. So to improve vision, top three things we can do here. First one, let’s call it the near-far focus. Take one hand and cover up one of your eyes. Look as far out into the distance as you can, ideally about 30 feet or so away. Hold that for five seconds or so. And then take a pen, pencil, even your finger. Bring it as close to your eye as you can until it gets a little blurry. Stop, make it clear. And I want you to hold it there for five seconds. After five seconds, throw the focus out into the distance for five seconds. So it’s almost like doing pushups with your focusing system. Second procedure would be eye stretches. Cover up an eye with one hand. Look as far up to the ceiling as you can. Hold it for five seconds. Look as far down to the floor as you can. Hold it for five seconds. As far as you can to the left, to the right. Third procedure that we can all start implementing a focus trombone activity. Cover up an eye, take pad of your finger, and you want to just slowly trombone that in. If it’s blurry, stop and try and make it clear, but then you’re gonna slowly kind of bring this as close in as you can, making it clear, and then slowly bringing it all the way out. This is a more slowly and methodically controlled stimulation of the muscle to improve. #eyesight #vison #visioncare #eyes #sight

Visualisation is one of the most powerful mental training tools in the world. And if you’re not using it, you’re at a disadvantage (especially athletes/high performers/leaders) There are 5 types: 1. Outcome 2. Process 3. Negative 4. Creative 5. Explorative And it works because the brain activates nearly identical neural activity when you imagine something vs when you’re actually doing it. So basically it struggles to tell the difference. Most people visualise worst case scenarios. Therefore you become more anxious, fearful and perform worse. Here Olympic skiers, DJokovic, Michael phelps, the Blue Angels and Carlos Sainz all use it to rewire their brain to think, feel and perform the best they have. It’s a super power once you know how to properly use it and integrate it into your training. Mindset gives you the edge. P.s that’s why I wrote the book β€˜VISUALISE’ I have spent the last 10 years researching and practicing everything about this particular skill. Comment β€˜BOOK’ for the link. And I’m curious! Do you use visualisation? For what? Let me know in the comments

Improved Cognitive Function: Hand exercises, such as playing musical instruments or engaging in crafts, can boost cognitive functions like memory, attention, and problem-solving skills. 4. Stress Reduction: Hand exercises can be meditative and relaxing, helping to reduce stress and anxiety, which positively impacts overall brain health. 5. Prevention of Cognitive Decline: Regularly challenging the brain with hand exercises can help in maintaining cognitive functions and potentially delaying the onset of age-related cognitive decline. 6. Enhanced Hand-Eye Coordination: These exercises can improve the brain’s ability to coordinate visual input with hand movements, which is essential for many daily activities. 7. Stimulated Creativity: Engaging in creative hand exercises, such as drawing or sculpting, can stimulate the brain’s creative centers, fostering innovation and imaginative thinking.
